Joe Royal Garage
Добавлен 25 дек 2016
I am here to make friends who also like to work on cars. I try to do it myself. My goal being once I get it home , I don’t send it to someone else to do the work. End result… I don’t always know what I am doing, and there is a lot of figuring stuff out.
We’re back!!!!
It’s been a bit since I posted. Hopefully I will be more consistent moving forward. Here is a quick catch up on what’s been up. Sorry for the sound , I had both the heater and the smoke sucker running. I didn’t realize how loud it was.

I will admit. This is probably more of a rant than anything else. But I will show you this car was built as a scam, and never meant to be driven.

Hey Joe. Nice shop dog. Mine just lays outside the door and makes sure nobody comes in. I think I make too much noise for him. The bucket is looking good. If you're not having fun, it's not worth being out in the shop. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁
The 2 bassets don’t like to be in the shop . They will only come I. When my wife is out there. There is no plan for the bucket, so it’s just coming together how it is …… I guess….. lol

Thank you Pat. Means a lot coming from you. Lol I guess if complicated means I build a slightly different car than most, and get it safely down the road. I like it!!!!!
Cool decal Joe. I've liked that S10 since I first saw it on your channel. Who doesn't love a V8 mini truck?
Denny has come along way with that truck. You will see more of it!!!
That’s a whole lot of S-10 Joe , your sticker looks great on that truck . Looking good buddy.
Denny has put a lot of work in that truck. It’s really staring show. I love the sound of that 406
Stickered!!! Added A Hundred Horsepower!!! Rocking S10 For Sure!!! Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!
lol I was thinking it would probably lose 100
That's a really cool sticker Joe and it looks great on the red truck
Thanks man. Thank you for the poster. I plan on doing a video showing it . Just haven’t had a lot of time. Lately
@@joeroyalgarage7995 right on Joe no worries
Looks great👍👍
Thank you. I think it turned out good
Looks excellent. Low but still drivable. Nice job Joe
lol we been debating doing that for a couple years. I think it looks good, and Denny is very happy. So gonna put that I. The win column
Rocking and A Rolling!!! Now I Want To Work On Johnny!!! Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!
Johnny rockin that L S is gonna be an impressive S 10. Has definitely come along way already
Nice job! looks good! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks man. It was a good day we had fun!
I don’t know Joe , I’ve seen this same kinda stuff running and driving into some field days car shows …well maybe not that bad ..but close . You may have possibly saved someone’s life by buying it , I mean it somebody might have tried to drive it . I bet it will look a lot better once you cut the whole thing up ….because you can’t build it up till you cut it up. 👍👍 RR
She’s down to pretty much the rear axle. After a little R & D, I decided to replace the frame. Gonna step away, save some cash, and work in the Nova for a bit.
Did you even look at this thing befor buying it .The rails are pretty small and you cant blame the people if you didn't look it over before agreeing to buy it .If you knew so much that you are noticing now you should have seen that before buying it . Easy to tell if nsomething is driveable and should be driven before buying if it is truly drivable .
I didn’t buy it from the junkyard. I bought it from the guy who did. I was kinda thinkin parts car at the time. The frame isn’t going to be reused. You are absolutely correct the rails are too small. You were also correct I knew when I bought it it wasn’t drivable. I don’t blame the people who put this together for my owning. I do blame them for taking advantage of the gentleman that I got it from. I will admit the exact level of hackery here did catch me off guard. I knew it was sketchy, but wedge anchors… would you have seen that coming. Have a good day man. Thank you for watching
Holy crap. What the heck were they thinking? 😮 I would make it drivable just because it will be cool.
I think it would make a fun little cruiser.
Your just being picky 😂
lol ya, I don’t know what I was thinking!!!!!!!
Hey Joe. Well, we really didn't expect much. It was a JUNK YARD FIND. Maybe take the engine and tires and call it a day. Hey, but Joe doesn't do that. Joe digs a big hole and then fills it with something perdy real perdy. 😊 Thanks for sharing.🍁👍👍
I’m digging in. Ain’t real sure how perdy it will be. But as far as wheels and tires, they ain’t much more than that left…. Lol
Light T bucket would be fine with a 305. When you get the car done nickname it "Wedge Anchor", and have a picture of the rear suspension bracket on a display board to show people the mess you started with. it sucks right now, but it's a good clean slate to start with.
lol oh man, I like that. I may have to do that!!!! Thanks for the idea!!
At least you can see what direction to start " lol " good luck .looking forward to see it done right 👍👍😄🇦🇺
Yup. Starting at the bottom and work my way up. Thank you for watching, I appreciate that!!!
It’s like someone looked at a rough diagram of a car and said “yeah, that looks about right.” 🤣
I believe they drew stick figures in the ground and started from that. I may need to borrow you future hubby here and there as it gets fixed.
@@joeroyalgarage7995 I’m sure he’d love to help!
Man That's Insane!!! The Concrete Anchor Bolts Is The Killer!!! 😂😂 Just Tell Everyone It's A 350 And They Will Never Know!!! I'd Just Start With Fresh Frame Rails!!! The One On That Frame Are Too Skinny!!! A Lot Of Sketchy Going On There!!! Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!
I been shopping for frames. I know you’re right. The anchor bolts were funny as heck, thought I seen it all until than.
Sure did
wow ..... even the ladder bars are on backwards the ( shock ) mounts are actually brackets that bolt to the lower control arm on a coil over set up, both my cars have them on it.. good thing that car never seen the road ✌️👍
Now see I didn’t even catch that. Now I’m gonna have to check it out when I get home. Thanks for the info !!!!!
Good info Joe! Your laughter says it all. Git er done ✅
lol I knew it was sketchy, it just took it to a higher level than I could of imagined!!!
That's a quality build 😂 🤡
I dont know what you mean Joe that's a good solid build. 😂
Yes sir, I’m gonna tighten that one bolt up, and we are set to go!!!!! Lol
@@joeroyalgarage7995 Lol
Hey Joe. Why work when you can play.🍁👍👍🐕🦺
Amen to that Andy!!!!
Hey Joe. Very cool. If I was 20 years younger, I would have that in my shop. The windshield is WAY tooooo tall. Thanks for getting the flag out from the ASS spot. That was not cool. But there is a lot of potensial there. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁
Thanks Andy. Agreed on the windshield!!!!
I would say Yes. and hope that’s it not much of a money pit. had one. It loved money to keep it running. could be a real Cool ride.
I got a feeling there gonna be a lot of nickels and dimes thrown at this car. Hopefully I can keep it somewhat reeled in. Thank you for watching !!!!!
interesting
Thank you
