This one in the video is the only PS3 I've ever owned. I've heard pros and cons for it and the Super Slim over the years, so honestly, just go for what you like best.

@@manofmanyvideos I'm aus and there are tuns selling on eBay and Ali express cheap for like $30. You can evilnat cfw your console to it's the last model that can do it, makes the PS3 a million times better

😄 It wasn't my choice, way back then - this system was a gift from a relative of mine! It's the only PS3 I've ever had.

The Super Slim didn't even exist yet at the time, but I've always thought that it looked pretty neat. And I've always heard that the Slim is generally more reliable. But I wouldn't know from personal experience, maybe I'll go for one in the future.

PS3 slim is a better console I have three and work perfect still. I also have a super slime and that is bricked it has the wifi chip messed up and have to weld a new one on there in order to fix it. As well I deep cleaned the ps3 super slim and it is awful the plastics to take off on top are flimsy and the side piece too just trash don’t get me started with the top plastic cover for the cd drive

😂 I believe it. I've always heard that the Super Slim is generally less reliable than the Slim. And then we don't need to state the obvious about the original fat PS3.

⁠@@manofmanyvideos I don't want to overhype you, as a lot of media enjoyment naturally comes from personal preferences - which is perfectly fine and normal - but the director of this game, Yoko Taro, is a master at creating powerful, unique themes. He's also generally very good at subversion. I don't want to spoil the storyline in any way, naturally, so I'll just keep watching and leaving some comments here and there as the playthrough progresses, however there is something else I think might be good to clarify: Replicant actually isn't a later-made prequel, but the first game in the series that got released (in 2010, mostly known back then as simply "NIER"). The original version though wasn't very popular as - among other things - despite a great narrative, the combat left a lot to be desired and was simply just clunky. As such, the game remained quite niche up until 2017, when the sequel, NieR: Automata, released to overwhelming success. This prompted Square to greenlight a re-release of the first game, which eventually came to fruition in 2021. This version is, for all intents and purposes, a near-full remake (kinda hard to judge that objectively, but if you want to classify it as just a remaster, it'd be a very extensive one), and it includes both greatly reimagined combat and some late-game content not present at all in the original 2010 release. Despite that though, the team behind it, including Yoko Taro himself, have consistently refrained from referring to this version as either a "remake" or a "remaster", instead calling it an "update". Hence why the subtitle reads "ver. 1.225...", which actually has nothing to do with any actual version enumeration, but rather is just the square root of 1.5. It's a random joke on part of the developers lol

😇 I didn't need to detach the heatsink and do that because scrubbing it and blowing the dust it had from the one side was good enough for mine.

I took this into consideration as I did it all and might do that in the future if it becomes enough of a problem again. 😄 For now, I'm content with the results. It's so much better.
