I think that's the same machine I have been looking at...you can swap attachments on it. The brush cutter, and snow blower attachment would be really nice to have. I hope DR keeps expanding the attachments for that machine...once I have my log splitter paid off later this year, I'll order this machine for next season, unless I can get a hold of the snow blower attachment, then I'll order that as well. Seems to me that would easily handle a 48-50 or 54" mower deck...that 42" deck kind of seems a bit small for it LOL. Also, not a fan of the Briggs and Stratton engines anymore :(. Kohler or Kawasaki would be my choice....past couple machines I've had with the Briggs & Stratton engines weren't good at all sadly, and that used to be the go-to brand engine for most of my equipment.

Seems dumb. Consumer zero turn frame without the zero turn. No front scalp protection. How is that doing anything that the X570 can't?

I have the same machine and I used it for about 2 minutes and gets really hot anybody knows why? And shuts down I let it cool down and start running but gets hot quick

Bought a Z530M for $5k, and have had nothing but constant problems with the 54-deep deck. Is this typical?

How many hours you got on that z545? My z515e is running 225 hours with no issues other than some loose lug nuts

For the z545, try taking off the gas cap and running it. Sounds like it might be going into vapor lock. Could also just be a dirty carb. It might also be a bad coil. They tend to stop working when they get hot when they are going bad

Looks handy. I bought an electric wheelbarrow and it hauls 400lbs and goes longer than I can. But I’d still rather have a loader because even lifting it into the wheelbarrow is rough on the back and wears me out faster than I’d like.

You might want to try a speed feed 450 head on it, just to see if that makes any difference.

Used a similar model in the early 70's cutting jobs . A glass pickel jug was my gas can lol.. had to pull the plug wire to shut it of.. that's a 60s model for sure.

One more thing, with the steering wheel you might miss that ability to leave one side idel .. they work like a locked diff.. you're either forward, reversing or turning.. there is no neutral effect on one or the other side..

It needs some deck management..lol.. but hey its also 12 or 13 years old now..

They can bind up also. You sometimes had to stop and reverse a bit, simalar to a 4×4 from wheel hop .. nothing major just stiff at times.. checking the control arms in the linkage is required. Keegan put new bushings in the old zt50 and it's turning like a new-born 😆

When you're saying wet grass, are you taking about soft turf.. if so the Cub I put 900 hrs on, it was great except, in soft stuff, I found you can't control the dig in of the rotation with the steering wheel as well as the handle bars.. getting stuck was an issue at times.. but side hills are easy.. just a bit of counter steering holds the front end from titlt-a-whirling 😅

Hi thanks but I do believe it is worse to run a mix that is Ritcher then what is posted to use as carbon will build up on the piston and valve ...and if it builds on the piston it could contact the sparkplug not to mention plug the spark arest screen ......thank you for watching..and the comment

Hope it didn't seize up, sounded like it, maybe a new jug and piston. I always run 32:1 in stihl
