In The End - A video that never was
Просмотров 213 тыс.10 лет назад
I made this video as a tribute to the best band of all time ... I hope you enjoy it... ... Video editing and production by Ton C Cabrera * Images from "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert (TV Broadcast) March 29th, 1975" *Audio from "1976 (Oct 25th) 2112 Seattle Night" Bootleg
I was 13 when I first listened to 'Farewell of Kings' in 1977. Makes me 60 in 2024, still a kid ...
Alex....Mom, dad I'm quitting school to become a rock star. lol And he did!
I am 60 and fell in love with RUSH. While I still love all the music I listened to when I was younger Rush has never left my side! 2112 to me on a journey that to this day when I hear 2112 I go on that same journey all these year later. 1976 Ambassador in St louis.
It’s not perfect, BUT IT IS DAMN GOOD! Love the choice of video and soundtrack WAS perfect. You know if “they” wanted too, they(Ged & Alex)with management, could really put together some mind blowing stuff like this from archives and such but just don’t think it’s really in their hearts anymore because of Neil’s absence and just where they are right now in their lives. BTW I’m totally cool with that too.❤️🥁🎸🎹🎤🤘🖖✌️
Whoa yeah!!!
It’s WOOO YEEAAHHH, or WHOOA YEAHH, and OOOOHH YEAA-😂✌️🤘a trademark early on go to Geddy lyric b4 the greatness that was NEP#the professor joined them. I thought of that a long time ago after seeing a comedian poke fun at James Brown when he couldn’t think of a word for a song he’d throw in a ‘GOOD GOD’ and I forgot what else but it was funny AF!🤘✌️🖖
I love Rush. This is not the real video , for the song. But still love it.
😢😢😢❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰💗💌💗❤️❤️❤️💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎🥁🫶🏻💌
I bought 'All the worlds a stage' in 1976 and was immediately blown away! I'm 66 now and still love them! There'll never be another Rush!
That was my first RUSH lp purchase as well. It was 1978 and I remember thinking of it as the perfect RUSH Sampler
I first heard in the end at 12 it crushed me in the best way
So. Damn. Good. 50 years ago
That was beautiful. Thank you so much for that!!
Thanks for sharing!
A band possessed ! You watch Geddy sing, and his eyes just roll back in his head! You just don’t see stuff like this anymore! On a whim I bought 2112, because I thought they looked really cool! Been a fan ever since!
That's the same way I got into Rush. I liked the 2112 album cover. And the intro to the story on the back sounded science fiction-y, which I was into, so I went for it. 8 bucks was a lot for a 14-year-old in August of 1976. But it was worth it, and Rush has been a constant presence in my life since then. I got so much from those guys: emotional feedback on timeless wavelengths, bearing a gift beyond price, almost free.
Rush is the best of the Best.
1977 Santa Monica Civic arena… UFO supported Rush on the 2112 tour and this was my first exposure to my favorite band 😉 I was hooked from the opening notes of complete pure bliss…I’m sure all you “old guys” like me appreciate some of the newer bands that “get it” and if you do please give a listen to The Warning !! 3 sisters from Monterey Mexico who just have that 3 piece magic…they absolutely blow me away !
My fav from Fly by Night His voice was so good to me. Saw them when I was 16 for the first time. So glad I made it to the 2015 tour. RIP man, you enriched our lives.
Now if you/anyone can find the missing drum solo from the Exit Stage Left video. :(
For whatever reason this is my absolute favorite Rush song of all time. One, Two, Buckle My Shoe! All The World's a Stage was the best kegger album and this was the best song.
the nwo wants to destroy your peace
it sees rush legacy of led zeppelin
I saw RUSH the first time in late 1974 before FBN was released. I am pretty sure they played this song! They were the middle band between Diamond Rio, & Ted Nugent. I was young, about 15 or 16, & they were a bluesy based band, very good! Then in 1976 when I heard 2112 for the first time I was hooked! I saw them 5 more times in the next 6 years!
If i had a time machine, i would go to ATWAS recordings at Maasey Hall with multicamera 35 mm film crews...after making investments to become the richest person in the world of course, just so i could be a Rush executive producer, seeing and recording every show.😊
Visiting friends with my family in Toronto in 74. My brother and the older brother snuck out one night. I woke up as they were climbing out the window. Asked them where they were going and was threatened with an untimely death if I narc'd on them. The next day I asked where they went and they said to see a band called Rush. I said in my 12 yr old wisdom, "What a stupid name for a band..." and the rest is history...LOL
Thanks! One of my many favorite Rush songs.
GEDDY LEE!
Living a couple miles of where Geddy and Alex grew up I am prejudiced so they are the greatest band to come out of Canada and perhaps the most talented band ever.
great vid ma man ----- i have an old rush vid similar to this with geddy in his glogs and rush on don kershner's rock concert plus old interviews ..... also have vids also have all the regular rush R40.... grace under pressure......i'll stop there......let me know if you want a copy of the old rush
Thanks, I'm glad you like it... of course, of course I would like a copy of those videos... Cheers!
Most excellent
Nice!
RUSH!!!!!!
Thank you for sharing this, was in HS when Fly by Night was released. My first Rush concert (All the World's a Stage) they played this song, get goose bumps watching this video. Geddy's Reichenbacher bass plus he had a double neck of it as well.
WOW! Ut;s a shame that All the World's a Stage didn't have an official video!
thank you
My brother saw them way back in the day with---I am NOT making this up--Ted Nugent. He told me that they didn't come out from backstage, but walked through the audience to get to the stage!!! People who didn't recognize them were all saying, "Hey, you can't climb up there like that!!! 😂😂😂
❤IT!
3 of the greatest ever.
My first concert. 13 yo in Cleveland. 1974! A friends mom took us and still love them 50 years later
Great job!
18 years old in 76. Was the first time I seen RUSH in concert. A friend had given me Caress of Steel cassette. He didn't like them. I felt completely different than that 😊
Love "Stage" live version of this.
Did a good job
I've always loved this song (Great job to the creator of this video btw... I've had this video on my Rush playlist for years), but I just realized that a video DOES exist. The Exit Stage Left video contained it in the ByTor/ In The End/ In The Mood/ 2112 finale segue. It was not on the album, just the video. Here it is starting just before In The End. ruclips.net/video/yjGFmyVi_pM/видео.htmlsi=8AhfoI711bPGXcaK&t=234
My Most Favorite Song By The Almighty RUSH. Thank You Forever For This. Chiraq
Thank you for sharing this absolute gem 💎
A debut performance of New RUSH Drummer, Neil Peart 😊 ❤
Aloha tonc2112 and to The RUSH Faithful in The Fall Of 2023 who STILL Rock To Dirk, Lerxst and The Late Professor! Been close to a Decade since I first came across this Classic Homemade Visual of "In The End" from The Tonc Man! I recently went on a binge of certain RUSH tunes playing them with a few mates in an old Barn on private property WITH permission! LOLOL And this tune is one we ALL enjoyed plowing through! Still gets the goosebumps a flowing too! So to come full circle I came back to The Beginning! Cheers and Keep Strutting RUSH FANS!
