Hello Folks, My dads w203 has been leaking from the electrical connector to a point that it entered in limp mode and only alowing to shift from 2 to 3rd. In the video i show how i replace it and as a bonus raplaced the gearbox oil. Cheers

Hello Folks, was having poor gas mileage and hard start on cold temperatures. The rattle of the chain has 2 causes: 1. The chain is stretched (in the case of vw polo cbzb 1.2 tsi - over 47 cm!!!) 2. The chain performs as a stretched chain (tho is no longer than 47 cm!!!) because of the internal fail of it’s tensioner! So if you can measure the chain and it the same length in cm as a new one and also inspect it visually and see it doesn’t have any damage, than the chain can be reused and you only need to replace the TENSIONER! The causes of a failed tensioner are: 1. The lack of lubrication or proper lubrication (oil loses, bad oil, low oil pressure etc.) or 2. The internal damage of the tensioner because of the km and of the usage!

@frankcumaio8328 iv tried that and every time the chain jumps..this is after changing the oil pump chain only. Now im stuck because im not sho if i should change the timing chain and tensioner as well because im aware that the tensioner only works properly with oil pressure.but the only problem the car had was the noise from oil pump chain.

I had the exact same catch can in my d40. It worked good but the bracket mount broke. I stuck it in between the air box and fender. Padded it up with rags to stop vibration and it still goes well. Do a egr block off too.

I affraid to do the same one my 7g DSG on Skoda Octavia 1.6TDI, since it was not changed since 2018, at least, as long as a car is in my possession. DId you do some flush with some other liquid or just replaced it? Did you notice any debris in your old oil?
@@carsugarmodels only replacement, no flush. No debris noted, only kind of dark colour and a bit „burnt” smell. Still works fine after the change

Hi! Doesn't the sprocket for the timing chain on the crankshaft need to be aligned with a specific zeroing position to be positioned correctly on the crankshaft when the sprocket is installed to the crank?
That rattling noise at the first startup after replacement, was it only one time or is it still like that when starting it up? Mine has a rattling noise when startup for about 1-2 seconds, then gone. Thinking that I might need to replace mine (again since it was replaced 3 years ago). Thanks for a great video!

I recently disconnected the battery on my Pajero to install a new radio. When I reconnected the battery I've had all sorts of problems that weren't present before. The automatic transmission gear changes are not smooth like they used to be. The 2nd to 3rd gear change revs up before engaging, this is not present when using the manual change mode and only seems to happen at light throttle.i had the transmission serviced but no change. Also, when I turn the Aircon on, the car lurches forward like I've tapped the accelerator, it does this while driving too. The Aircon still blows cold but not that cold so I've booked in to regas it. The alternator was changed just after the symptoms started, could it be a tight belt and regarding the transmission, could it require a reset? I've had the car scanned for codes but nothing is showing up
