Since I started my modern city in 2021, I’ve really liked it. At least the downtown is cramped, but thats how it’s meant to be. I have one thing though. I have never used actual roads in my city. Instead, I unknowingly went with walking paths made up of stone bricks; and you know what, I like it. It’s relatively small, and they work perfectly. I’m constantly redoing things until I like it, and I believe my city has a long and storied history both behind it and ahead of it.

This is exactly why I want to build a city. It’s a lot more than planting any building you please wherever. I’m trying to keep it realistic to as how cities, and transit are built in real life. I just started playing MC in 2023. I’m playing in survival and my first phase is to create a large map. Both 3/4 and 4/4 map to get a feel of what’s around, and where to plant my buildings. Ie- I love modern luxury homes so I’m looking for great coastal views and private islands to build them. Since I’m on survival, I found a nice flat plains to create item farms, and also a normal wheat farm. Thanks for this video!
