There's hella videos on RUclips about this swap. I just ordered C6 Z51/Z06 slotted rotors. They bolt right up to the C5. I also ordered 4( rear piston calipers)for all 4 corners. Bolt right up. No cutting necessary! And it works with 17 inch wheels. There you go, big brake kit.... Less than 700bucks

Just bought my first car, 05 g35X, started with a o2 problem, then misfire, turned out oil was leaking not only out the valve covers but also into my Sparks :( replaced valve covers sparks and coils, Start it back up Camshaft position sensor and Loud noise of something rattling I was sure I dropped something into my intake so I got it towed to a shop, shop calls me back, now there’s no compression in 1,3, or 5. New engine needed and now idk what to do. Had the car for maybe 2 Months and it sat for 1 🤦‍♂️. Big L.

My top ones with the kit were a little too long for the fronts so I had to trim the end of the bolts so the hub can spin freely

Your supposed to used the big part of the rack spacer on 1 wide and the smaller metal spacer on the other side ... NOT both on 1 side

I mean some wheels people buy for e46 bmw’s fit the c5 but I can see why you’d wanna do the swap

I am trying to convert my 2002 S10 Blazer extreme to 5 x114.3 will this conversion work on my Blazer ? I really dislike the 5x120 bolt pattern bc the options are limited for wheel selection. Please get back to me thank you

Decent video, I learned a lot. This process has been streamlined a lot since people first started doing it when these engines first hit the market. Really nice to see the nissan transmissions becoming popular swaps because they are really decent for these types of applications. I used to have a high powered built and boosted Toyota 86 and doing the CD009 trans swap made all the difference. I'm looking to do an older japanese coupe with a 5.3 or 6.0, and your setup is very inspiring. Thanks for making this video and reading my long ass comment hahahahaha

Anyone know if there's a kit for a c6 😢 I'm contemplating on getting the redrill kit but not sure if it'll kill the strength on the hubs since I'm 800hp with 20s 😭

Just a heads up to anyone looking into this, the CTS hubs are technically 5x115 with plenty of heresay problems with running 5x114 wheels on them.

Hear me out... Power tools pnuematic or electric hell maybe even gas powered byt im not doing a whole engine swap with only hand tools

This was exactly what i was looking for, I have multiple sets of rims laying around but nothing in a 5x120. I don't know about the spacers though. Probably just make a set myself, the wait will kill me, trying to get this done asap.

I strapped a tow strap around my frame and through a hole on flex plate (worked)

For your trans , are you running the twin turbo or na , I also got a z32 trans granted I paid much more , and that adapter plate is about 800 now
