Is this how your hair was before the treatment? I just done this treatment and my hair was curly but it was very nice and I loved it I just wanted to calm down the frizz but unfortunately I lost my curls with the treatment and I have to scrunch my hair to get it back, I’m only on my first week, I want to know if my curly hair will come back after this wears off.

Firstly, you and your hair is absolutely beautiful. That's why I clicked on this video because I am interested in using a keratin treatment for my child who looks quite similar to you. Secondly, I mean this with the utmost respect. I know that you stated both of your parents are White, but you really need to obtain a DNA test as soon as possible. It's not just your hair that gives the impression that you may be part African American, sweetheart, but you have the phenotype, feature wise, as well, and your complexion also points to this strong possibility. All three of those factors combined point to you definitely not being 100% White. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. I know as children we trust our parents, or may be in denial, and it's even possible that you do have a grandparent, or great grandparent that was Black, but it's also possible that something else may be going on, but either way, I strongly suggest you get a DNA test.

My cats destroyed the underneath box spring on our beds and also the couches downstairs so I’m trying to find a solution to prevent them from destroying any new furniture that we buy 🤦🏻‍♂️

It's like a thin cardboard and looks like it's going to take up a lot of room under bed. And not gonna be able to put anything in it. I also have carpet. So, this is a really good idea. I went carnivore a few years ago. Some of the carnivore docs here on RUclips say they have patients who they have helped. Dr. Ken Berry & Dr. Shawn Baker. Delightedtomeatyou stated she had an eating disorder that carnivore has gotten under control. It definitely helped me with my depression.

Does it have a chemical smell when you blow dry it and flat iron?

Not just because of hair but skin colouring and facial features. Wrote because you had your hair down. Trust me you definitely are mixed race.

if you do ancestry you will find out someone in your parents' family is/was black or at least mixed with black and its showing through your hair.

I so feel you on not wanting to do the long process 🤣 i've been doing it for years and i started stretching it so long and only doing it right before summer and right before the holidays. My hair dried pin straight when i did it consistently (2-3 times a year) but after a year of nothing it completely reverted to my 3C hair. I stopped because the products I was using irritated my throat and eyes so much. I miss it though curly hair is so pretty love when it's done but straight hair is so much more low maintenance on the daily. I'm so considering going back to keratin trying this product because the ingredients are cleaner!

My 2 cat will stay under the bed for hours. I’ve gotten to where I’m the hulk flipping both the mattress and the box spring when I need them to get out of the room. I’m not about to crawl around the floor just to get them out. I just don’t want them under there at all. I definitely plan on trying this lol.

No need to wash the burner elements and probably not a good idea. They get clean every time you set them to High anyway. After getting them red hot and letting them cool, just wipe any burnt bits off. Good job figuring out the rest of it.

I seen your video of your natural hair and you have kind of like my daughter’s hair. Like a really curly texture, and it would prob help you out a lot more if you would detangle it at night and put a braid in it so that It won’t tangle after. from the looks it seems the brush out is a bit much. I promise you if you would detangle while conditioning and then comb with a wide tooth comb it would be a bit easier. 😊

I feel your pain.

Your hair and scalp is going through some major adjustments in your routine so the dandruff is just a result of that unfortunately :/ when I was first starting my hair are journey I had the same issue and apple cider vinegar rinses completely cleared it and I haven’t suffered in years. Not sure how the ACV interacts with keratin, but I used to saturate my whole scalp with it, leave it on for like 30 minutes, and then shampoo it out. Do for 1-2 weeks and it should clear the dandruff 🩷

DONT USE ANTI DANSRUFF SHAMPOO OVER THE KERATIN. It will strip everything out. Your scalp is probably just reacting to the new chemicals, so I would focus on deep moisture. Deep condition every single week, and use a hydrating, sulfate free shampoo. You can even oil your scalp once a week to help soothe and rebalance it. Curly hair maintenance is such a journey, especially when you don’t have any guidance, but you’re off to a good start just keep at it 😉 you got this girly! 🩷

You should try one without femaldehyde. Next time try ANSWR! It would be more gentle than what your using.

The oils from our scalp are necessary. Give it a brush with a little oil, that should help with shine.

You should buy an Argon oil or something like that to put on your hair at night. Then wrap your hair up.

Wrap your hair around your head and put a scarf on.
