I think it was potrayed in a misleading manner. Subaru didn't take majority of the curse. According to the novels description, he only removed two small patches of the curse. The novels also mention that howmuch ever Subaru takes from Crusch, Subaru receives 10 times the amount. This makes Subaru removing the whole curse from Crusch infeasible.

3rd and 4th ascension are spoiler related. And it is confusing. The game they are playing in the 4th ascension art is Senet, a boardgame that was popular throughout the history of Ancient Egypt, it fell out of favor during the Roman Period. It was seen a symbolical of the passing of one aspect of the soul (the Ka) through the underworld of Duat.

In the 4th ascension, both of them are Tutankhamun. As for the reason why, it's a spoiler.

I think the board game they played in the final ascension art is "Senet". It's Ancient Egypt's board game.

Funnily enough, I manage to solo this CQ with Jinako on the last 2 health bars. With jinako beeing able to loop with the help of the NP gain buff you get, her NP providing health and Invincible one turn, it quickly turned to a Stall strat.

Another small detail, Renji said his move can hold Uryu for 20 seconds, in the manga when they fight together against SzayelAporro, Renji also said he can help hold him 20 seconds to create an opening for Uryu.

Remember how Askin's power "D" the Deathdealing work? the way he can adjust his target lethal dosage of a certain substance to kill his enemy? This is one way to apply his ability, when contact with his gift ball, it will immediately take effect and cause your body goes wrong since the lethal dosage has been changed, the result could be death or immobilize. Askin is a very dangerous opponent due to his ability nature, plus he always act like he is weak makes opponent very easy to step into his way. Grimmjow lost due to he is over-confident and underestimate Askin, he never imagined Askin can really take him down in one move so he chased without much thought, and we all see the result. It also shows why in the cour 2 Bazz-B is about to fight Haschwalth but immediately stopped after saw a gift ball, he know how dangerous that thing is.

When Renji encounter Uryu, the dialogue they exchanged showed something, Renji first try to confirm Uryu is side with enemy, and then Renji specifically asked about Ichigo. Ichigo is the one who changed Renji's life, made him see the path he should take, and you could say he is the reason Renji and Rukia's relationship get fixed and back to how close they are in the old days, so Renji is very grateful to Ichigo. Even they all are friends, but Ichigo is the most important one among everyone (except Rukia) to Renji. From Uryu's word, Renji confirmed that Uryu at least attacked Ichigo and got him, and Ichigo is unable to attack Uryu due to their friendship. So if Ichigo can't do the job, he will do the fight for Ichigo. Although at the result Uryu still stronger and Renji did hold some force back when he goes all out due to their relationship, it still shows Renji's resolve here. BTW, Renji's way of using his new Bankai in this fight are all new as well, in the manga, during the SuperStar battle is pretty much everything Renji get to show. So Renji and Uryu really get some love in this episode.

The technique Uryu used is quite interesting, he created an cage that suck all the Reishi of the opponent and make them lose their power. It is a new trick that sounds very suit for one of the strongest Quincy, but think about it, isn't this a little similar to Yhwach's power to just rubber away other's power and take it as his own? Sure, it does feels a down grade version compare to Yhwach's ability, but Uryu now start to act more close to a Quincy fit for the title of Yhwach's successor than any other character. Other Quincies mainly fight with Schrift and their own style, but only Uryu mainly used Reishi to create many different attack and pull some Quincy powerful skill like Yhwach when he is not using the Almighty. The other important Quincy that shows connection with Yhwach is Haschwalth, but Haschwalth did not display that much other than sword skill in the fight so far. So if you think about it, Uryu is by far the Quincy that resemble Yhwach's style the most other than Uryu prefer bow and arrow and Yhwach like sword more.

This Renji VS Uryu battle is so great, another great anime additional content that gives character some well-deserve moment. This section Renji encountered Uryu after Lille Barro snipe attack the Gotei 13 group. In the manga version, Renji stick with the main group and didn't get separate, but here after he goes out on his own way, he encountered Uryu and had a fight that he really try hard and goes all out with his new Bankai. Renji in the manga didn't get much of chance to shine his training result after the S battle, we all know the later opponent are all in very high level, you do feel that Renji can't help since enemy scale is too high, but still feels sorry for him. However, anime did him a favour and let him battle Uryu to show both of their power.

The girl who got shot in the chest is Kiyone Kotestu, Isane's younger sister. She is 3rd seat in Ukitake's division. Renji did hold back, but so did Uryu. Remember we still haven't seen his Schrift. Also, after Squad Zero training, Renji is now stronger than most captains Askin has shown a particular pattern to how he fights, with both Mayuri and Tenjiro (0 Squad member) he attempts to goad enemies into chasing him, Mayuri was smart enough to call it out and ignore it in cour 2, but here, much like Tenjiro, Grimmjow gives chase and Askin uses that to his advantage His ability doesn't directly correlate to blood, his ability is the "Death Dealing" and it allows him to perfectly calculate the lethal dose of any substance he takes into his body and then raise or lower that value as he sees fit, inducing a lethal dosage of that substance in his opponent's body. So with Oetsu, Askin ingested his own blood and so he was able to play around with the lethal dosage of blood in Oetsu's body. Oetsu would have died if Tenjiro didn't save him by replacing his blood with hot spring water. Askin can also take in other substances and manipulate how lethal they are as well, it doesn't have to be blood

The bit where Freya talks about Ryuu having a baby is apparently a reference to the fact that Gods cannot procreate with mortals. They already refer to the people of the lower world as "children". So Freya probably wants/accepts a full family between her, Ryuu and Bell. I think Freya has always been suffering. The time frame for how long from our POV can only be described as eternity. When she says being Syr is just a game, she's definitely downplaying it a lot. We see Syr in her. Her being Syr was most likely to ease her never ending suffering and she sees being with Bell as the only cure for her. Ironically like you pointed out, due to the episode with Ryuu and seeing Bell suffer because of her, right now she might be in the worst place to date. I'm rooting for Freya's happiness and well being. She is by far the best character in Danmachi!

Regarding Hedin, I think his words reflect his inner conflict about his loyalty to Freya and the very nature of loyalty itself. On one hand, he wishes to remain a devoted servant, carrying out her commands without question. On the other hand, he genuinely wants to see Freya happy. In the current situation, however, witnessing her turmoil due to her own decisions makes him question his actions. He fears that her course of action might lead to her downfall, something he desperately wants to prevent. Additionally from his interactions with Bell, it’s hinted that Hedin has come to respect him for his determination and bravery. There is a sense of a mentor student bond between them and seeing both Bell and Freya in this predicament likely stirs Hedin’s motivation. Ultimately like you mentioned, I believe he might choose to support Bell in the final battle as it aligns with his desire to protect both his goddess and his student.

I have nothing to say. Science SARU Studio improved everything. if in the manga the acrobatic Silky's past was sad, in the anime, it was more depressing. The animation, the details, the soundtrack, and so on. All was perfect. I tried not to cry...I failed

Its really one of the best anime contender for me, I love how the studio is putting so much effort in the production. Makes me really happy seeing the original source come to life in such a marvelous adaptation, they even add extra details to add more impact and explain stuff properly. Its not an everyday occurrence where they nail every scene with perfect music, animation, dialogue, voice acting. I face this problem with lots of anime, i find the manga a lot better due to pacing and because its faster and i think their anime wasn't worth the time but Dandadan is just something else. Its one of those few animes where it hits harder than the original source material like Gintama.
