Visit to their newest skate shop, Intuition in Santa Monica. And then Venice Beach skate. ❤️🩵🩷🤍 I've seen this on socials, but time make another dream into reality. Nothing to say but raw shortened video of being immersed in the @la.skate.hunnies street skate in Santa Monica. I'm not at the level to do big hills yet. Felt so wholesome. ---Extremely amazing to meet an older gen man doing spins and heel toe final probably before they had a name, before social media. It's interesting to chat with him and listen to him being so grateful that he can still skate at his 60s age and accept see someone that listened to the physics. Makes me not take a single day of skate for granted.

I'm not going through a break up I just think the words of the poetry are fitting to enjoying the sky and every moment. What were you doing/ where were you during the eclipse?

Awesome you documented and shared this learning process all the way through! Have been trying to learn this too, but started out with one foot backwards with the other just in the air. Going straight works fine, but slalom still out of reach for me. Going to try to support the slalom with the other foot, like you did. Thanks!

A tip for you: If the soles of your shoes/sneakers wear out at the lateral (ie outer) side, move the rear of frame likewise: to the lateral. If the wear is at the medial (inner) side, move your frames to the medial (ie towards the centre). And as for the front, align the front-most wheel between your big toe and the second toe. Another tip is keep your heels snugly well fitted in the shoe. Do not allow any free side movements of the heel inside the shoe. If you feel any movement, add firm padding (between the shell and liner) to immobilise the heel.

This proves that with attitude, ambition, technique, perseverance, practise, practise, practise, patience, one can overcome most challenges. Totally inspired!! And your video editing, the music and the narration is so soothing. Thanks!

Really fun to step into the Free skating Utrecht community and get to know some of the riders behind it. Utrecht has a rich skating community because their flat grounds. They have many resources utilized in the summer: Parks, Ramps, and Pump tracks just outside of Utrecht where they can run events and meet-ups! Also cool to meet another slalom rider. Definitely, a place to visit especially on a Friday if you want to do their parade skate. :)

Nice practice, so many routines on your own, especially knowing each naming! Maybe you had some background on ice skating, just guessing, and I was on the ice first (though not a lot) before concentrating on inline. Were those skates in 80mm?

I've always had a journalistic spirit in me! A little different video, I wanted to go to an East coast skate meet-up, meet some riders and feel the vibe there. Definitely more of an artsy crowd than out west! BTW I wanted to get some other voices on this channel, but unfortunately decided to cut the audio because I had some tech issues with my audio equipment (Little voice and a lot of feedback) so I sent it back to get them repaired. But otherwise the narration is spot on to what we talked about. Enjoy!

I saw a video you posted about a year ago of your slalom progression and was wondering if you were still doing slalom. Glad to see you are. My skates come in tomorrow so I’ll be brand new 😅

I wish any of the introductory inline skate vids I watched said ANYTHING about having a lateral adjustment feature as important. Now I've got a pair of $170.00 skates I can barely use because my left foot cants outward, and these have no provision for adjustment. It's as if that side just isn't balancing over the wheel properly. The right side does it to, but just a little. Why do the manufacturers assume this would be anything less than a necessity?

I don't comment too often, but I've always wanted to learn slalom skating but didn't think I could do it. Still I watch videos, and then I came across yours and your video is so soothing and inspiring. And I thought you were really cute skating, and the determination you had. I've subscribed! Will start skating after I'm done with my exams next month! ❤️ *edited: typos
