Football videos. Done differently.
Interesting world football stories, stats and facts, about teams, players, matches and more, told in a unique way by a bloke who thinks he’s funny and should know better. I also like gaming and general pop culture so expect the odd reference to these thrown in my videos! I try to tell football stories in a fun way that isn't boring like all the other RUclips channels so if you appreciate that then show me some love by mashing that subscribe button!

Analysing England's tournament history, media & MYTHS
FACT: England are the unluckiest nation in the world. Many lucky goals and blind referees have contributed to our failures over the years. But have we also had our fair share of luck? Are we cursed? Are we just crap? Or a mix of the two?
In this video I take a look at EVERY tournament England has played in or had the opportunity to qualify for, looking at our high points (not many), low points (the bulk of the video, to be honest) and I also take a look at a few myths, such as answering why we sing "It's Coming Home" when it never has, and whether our media really is just arrogant like many believe.
PLEASE REMEMBER: If everyone had the same opinion the world would be a very boring place. So...

Wre they really dominant since 1996 the World Cup was the only thing they won.
To be honest I'd be happy with that 😀 at least it is in living memory (just about), they've won many tournaments and got to many more Finals, I'd say they were dominant, if only for a time. I think my video explains they haven't been for some time really

The issue was the microphone. It started to fail halfway through Part 8 so just impacted all the sound. I think I might have increased the music volume slightly to hide the shit voice quality but I can't remember. Cheers for your comment 👍

To clarify the point about France becoming the first team to win the Euros while being World Cup holders - this is absolutely true although West Germany did it first, they just did it the other way around (won the Euros first in 1972, then the World Cup in 1974).
Ignore the part about the match vs Soviet Union being the last time England didn't need penalties to win a knockout match until the 2021 Final. Clearly I meant the 2nd round against Germany, but the point still stands. Clearly getting mixed up in my age

Gerrard did not slip Ramsey into the team. He played him yes, but he had played many many times under Smith, who was the one to took the risks to make him a first teamer that Gerrard simply picked like he did any other regular first teamer.
Yes he probably took the risks, but played considerably less under Smith. He played 38 matches total under Smith for a total of 1,404 minutes (out of an available 10,350 minutes), so only about 10% of the matches. Under Gerrard he played a similar amount of matches (37), totalling double the amount of minutes (2,887). You could make the argument either way! Thanks for the comment 🙂

That was a bit unnecessary TBF as I'm not racist but it's not something I even considered to be honest, I had no intention of anything coming across as racist, I only used a boat as I thought it would be funny for a person to row a small wooden boat across massive seas when a plane is the obvious choice, I didn't consider race at all...I see how it might come across and wasn't something I intended at all tbh

Glad you enjoyed! He's never been a bad manager at all, he got a bad rap for a couple of poor spells. His trophy cabinet shows he's not too bad at all! Yes I'm full of dad jokes...some would call them bad jokes 🤣 hope you liked it enough to check out some of my other videos!
Just because the fans moaned - especially when it's the most entitled fans in the Country, doesn't mean he did a bad job at Arsenal. He did a good job there. Let's not forget many of those same fans wanted Arteta out whilst he was building. It wasn't until the club realised they needed to back a good manager and get rid of prima dona players that they started to ascend. Emery can work in a good environment. He's willing to create that environment himself but it requires backing.
