These were the lights Holiday time sent me as a replacement to my 150ct broken LED lights. I wish it had 16 functions rather than 8, but looks and works fine. The flicker is more intense than the other ones which I don’t like.

These suck… I purchased 3 boxes for my outdoor trees and they all died after 3 years. I’ve also had the incandescent version and that lasted a whopping 6 years! And it still works as my Christmas tree lights.

Can you stop them from twinkling by changing out a white bulb?

I love the Walmart Warm Clear RANDOM twinkle lights. In their color strand the ORANGE bulb has to go... it ruins the overall effect in my opinion...... The classic colors from the 70s are red, green, blue, and Magenta and Yellow ... a yellow that is not orange. I

I’m pretty sure some people would call these garland lights barbed wire lights because it definitely looks like barbed wire from far away when not lit

4:50 in the daylight or have them bunched up together it kinda looks weird because with the twinkling effect it definitely looks like there’s multiple bulbs out

1:22 now Spencer gifts actually does release a novelty bowl holder so if you get yourself a novelty bulb holder from Spencer gifts or even just get a Sunbeam arts bowl holder that’s in the shape of a star and it would be perfect for this Edison bulb

5:38 now there’s two different types of bulbs within a twinkle strand. The twinkle bulb has a tungsten filament that looks completely different. That’s because it’s made for the mechanism that causes one of the bulbs to twinkle. And the other bulbs which is mostly consist of within the strand is a steady burn based bulb, or as they are actually called ballast bulb It is basically just like a standard mini lightbulb, but it is built to handle a bit more stress

0:42 I would prefer the gemmy versions especially from the 2011 because the way that the circuit board causes some of the lights to sparkle truly reflects a lot of the old incandescent sparkle lights

Guys i been using them for 3 years now! They are great! BUT WHATEVER YOU DO! NEVER! BUT NEVER! use cheap extension cords to plug them in… i bought this green GTC extension cord so i can put one of my musical lights on the top half of my tree… this thing just FRIED my set! IT FRIED IT!!! it was working fine all week including today, and even tested it for a couple minutes before i plugged it to the extension cord, it was a soon as i plugged it into the extension cord that it started killing my perfectly working 3 year old set… the extension cord had bad contacts and loose connections so it basically plugged in and unplugged my lights over and over again in hyper speed which ended up frying them… i have more of them so im not that worried but im mad… never buy extension cords from GTC, never, cannot be trusted

One year they had a 4 channel version red blue green purple don't know why they quit making them. I collect function/musical lights from the 90s

I had a set where every single blue did this but after a while they went out so i replaced them with cool whites

Actually it's not gonna harm your lights all its doing is switching polarity really fast to make it appear ateady

Hey, am just curious. What date did you exactly order those because I brought them from Amazon from the brand holiday essence and was multicolored. Mine were a little different because when I pressed the button, it immediately changed the music but as for you, when you pressed the button, it took a few milliseconds to change the music. I’ve noticed that. But yeah please tell me the date you order these because I ordered mines on December 6, 2022

Try the LED version, using RGB 5mm LED bulbs which on steady mode they should changing color itself

Did the fixture get fixed with a new bulb in it?
