    It's great to see likeminded people talk about how it is insane putting in the work after a 9-5. Thanks for highlighting the brutal truth of quality over quantity when it comes to putting in the work, and how 1 hour of deep work > 5 hours of stress induced pressure half assery, lol. cheers.

      haha yeah man. A lot of people talk about it but don't realize how tough it can be. Much better to just get some good work in and let it go than stressing yourself out. It's too long of a process to do that. Thanks for watching homie.

    Hey Cam, I just wanted to thank you for the motivation. Since the pandemic I have been working from home and got really isolated. I went from ~175lbs - >300lbs. I have been walking every day for the last 1.5 months, about 4-6 miles per day, and have lost 25 lbs. Still about 100 or so to go, but I know I can get back there. Thanks again, I was in a real bad place.

    My level of being social comes and goes a lot based on my level of confidence - sometimes I can be really present and in the moment and it's easy to be more outgoing, and other times I feel really self conscious and shrink away into myself. Maintaining that confidence is a real struggle for me.

    • @Cam_Curtiss
      @Cam_Curtiss 2 месяца назад

      Same for everyone man nothing to worry about there. That true confidence will come in time as you continue to learn who you are and are more comfortable with yourself. Eventually all of that thinking will go away and you'll just be that version of yourself that's present and in the moment

  • @rybk_

    I fall into this weird cycle sometimes where I find myself most alert / awake./ productive late at night which can cause me to not get enough sleep because I don't want to "miss out" on the productivity, making me more tired the next day, which leads to me being more awake at night, leading to less good sleep, etc.

    • @Cam_Curtiss
      @Cam_Curtiss 2 месяца назад

      Our mind likes to trick us and get motivation at times where it knows we can't do anything about it. It's why you feel like going to the gym or doing some work when you're already in bed. I avoid this by knocking out the things I have to do first thing in the morning or right after work. I make it a game with myself to see how disciplined I can be. Then instead of getting that burst of motivation at night, I get satisfaction from doing everything I wanted to do. I have a video coming out next week on focus and fighting this kind of thing
