    That display actually gave him a picture of the runway as if it was a camera. Could he land the plane using this? Does it give hime glide angle and centerline information?

    very expensive toy. For those $150.000 I can buy a REAL aircraft. Example: A Beechcraft B60 Duke, twin engines. 6 seats (1+5) and a range of 1.100 NM. (NYC to MIA= 950nm or 1090 statute mi) versus the 480 statute mi. That is less than midway to miami.

    Nice bird. love the V-tail. I always loved the Bonanza and believed a V Tail gave a smaller aircraft more stability than a conventional T-Tail. AND it looks a lot more stable than the BD-5 ever did. they should have kept that bird a prop with a properly powered engine, IMHO) What's your V1 rotation speed? and Range? I'm an LSA pilot and I always love to see someones dreams take flight. Without the benefit of flying her, it appears you you have a "Nice Flying Airplane" there.

    Hi I have another question and that is did you or are you planning on testing the emergency chute because that would be well worth seeing in action possibly taking away any anxiety that people will have about what if? kinds of questions, I know that it having the chute is and would be a major selling point for me. How hard does the plane come down with the chute deployed 1/2 full of fuel and a 165lb pilot?.

  • @jamiebrummett6475
    @jamiebrummett6475 9 лет назад

    I do think that one company has finally succeeded in making a micro jet that a well trained pilot can actually fly and this company is SONEX! You do not have to be James Bond anymore to fly a jet like this...Amazing!!!

    I am curious how well those little wheels/tires hold up under such high speed takeoffs and landings. Does it lead to faster tire wear and possibly higher chances for tire failure?

    That little plane is about the coolest thing that I have ever seen fly!. How much does one cost and what is the range on a full tank of fuel. I would also love to know how much thrust the jet engine has?, seems like it takes a long ways to achieve lift off speed.

    Nice little jet and congrats on the successful maiden flight. An issue that top mounted engine installation have is the threat of engine failure at takeoff and the potential flipping of the aircraft especially at the hands of inexperienced pilots. I'm interested to learn how the JSX designers may have tried to minimize this threat.

    • @unfortunately_fortunate2000
      @unfortunately_fortunate2000 5 лет назад

      to me it looks like their canted rudder fins are slanted like that not only to minimize damage if the engine 'splodes', and, to act like stabilizers. plus that blade antenna looks like its positioned in the centre of the underbody and purposefully made to be rather large for further stabilization, however I think that last thought's a bit of a stretch personally.

    Excellent work Sir. One question. Is that what would be considered a normal landing roll? I would imagine it was difficult to package the brakes in such a compact set of main gear and then make it retract. Seems adequate enough though.

    right...because someone who's developing an aircraft is going to willfully violate FAA regulations and put it on youtube for the world to see...get real man...there's obviously something going on here where he's got a certain clearance in oshkosh's airspace, even if this isn't at airventure (which I don't think it is since the normal pileup of cessnas and pipers is conspicuously missing)...anyway...you've been sufficiently pwned...that's good enough for now

      May i suggest strongly considering a sonex. I have flown both and feel that you get much more bang for your buck out of a sonex. Assuming it fits your mission profile.

      Jeremy Monnett Personally I gave it like and thought you did an excellent job. Jim on the other hand watched an FSX tutorial on how to fly and now he knows more than any of us. They should take the thumbs down option off, it you don't like it just leave the damn video and go to another one.

    • @phillipzx3d

      phillipzx3d 14 CFR D. 91.303 (he was rolling over houses), D.91.307 (c) 1 & 2. Aerobatic flight with no chute is a major one, Go grab your FAR dust it off.

      Roy Bird Good Stuff Roy. As per usual, the uninformed come up with their comments. ""Why can't you make one look futuristic dude?" Physics is one reason when you go small, the rest tends to go over their heads!!!! :) She looks pretty good to me. if i had the right right flight ticket instead of an LSA Shingle and the cash, I'd have one stashed in Andover, MA right now! Keep up the good work.
