They are solid , use good mags . Use full power ammo , clean it and keep it lubed and def if new break it in couple hundred rounds . These uses are under 1000 and generally come with extras like brace and extra mags .

This sling doesn't function as intended (at least for AKM). Straps are too large to fit in the front end sling swivel. Even in the locked position, the included clip detaches from the swivel causing my rifle to fall on the deck.

I have a chinese made woodland large alice pack. It fots a standard frame but, itll take straps just like a medium alice pack without a frame. Picked it up used with a gi frame for 35 dollars. Its built good. Cant complain.

I have 3 AR pistols that have either a BCA or PSA upper, had no issues with either of them….gotta love how affordable both are…..poverty tier builds in free states are mid tier builds for us here in CA…..Pistols lowers are hard to finds and if you do find them they are 3-4 times the price due to stupid CA laws and state handgun restrictions….ya’ll be safe as always

You're young so I won't be cruel. The ALICE ruck is a legend and considered by many (including tens of thousands of veterans) to be the greatest military pack ever made. I'm unsure if it was issued in time for the Vietnam War but since the mid 1970's to the Gulf War and even early GWOT (early 2000s) US made ALICE gear was still in service (USMC) but being replaced by the MOLLE system gear. Although no longer military issue - ALICE gear has been America's longest serving load bearing equipment for the individual infantry soldier and Marine. To equate 'cheap' Chinese copies with non mil-spec stitching and buckles is absurd! Don't even get me started on the weak ass frames! Airborne forces 'jumped' with the original ALICE pack - enough said. Yeah - originals are kind of pricey these days but that's just demand by collectors as the availability (US stock/surplus) is running dry. Hang on to yours. The reason the Chinese copy costs $150 is inflation. If made in America to mil-spec standards an ALICE pack (with upgrades) would cost approx. $500 - $700 today. ALICE packs have proven themselves through decades of infantry training, combat and special forces use all over the world. I have several surplus ALICE packs that are in 'like new' condition (last gen - never issued) with original frames and I wouldn't hesitate to take them to war. I also have a Chinese made one (not the newer Rothco or MT versions) and although it seems sturdy I wouldn't bet my life on it holding up due to the lack of being held and inspected to mil-spec standards. The Chinese version would likely make a decent hunting or weekend back pack but wouldn't hold up to daily military use. The GWOT era MOLLE equipment (now surplus) is also rather stout and well made. If you're not afraid to 'break the trends' of newer and more expensive gear - take a look at some of the MOLLE surplus and save some money. It also is drying up as the collectors and eBay resellers are buying it all up.

The truth is no matter who makes it they all can have quality control issues. Watch School of the American rifle and you will see. Watch his Colt video and see all the problems it has right from the manufacturer. Also, watch GoldenWebb, they do burndowns and you will be surprised how the big price gucci guns dont last as long as you would think, not far off from the "poverty" ARs.

As long as the parts are milspec and not defective the difference between high tier and low tier comes down to assembly. If you start with a good barrel and torque it properly onto a forged reciever, deburr and polish contact surfaces you will see very little difference between low end and high end (triggers withstanding). The difference will then come down to the shooter. Spending more money on a gun does not make you a better shot.

At least prop them up on a plant:( As others have mentioned... whatever you think of your gun (/mags) - take pride in cleaning it whenever possible. Magpul's crappy instructions led me here. Great vid, got it all sorted out.

None of my ARs like steel cased ammo. Ironically, my Bear Creek upper does the best with steel. My son's mini 14 eats those Wolf .223s, but AR tolerances are too close, and the lacquer on the steel cases will build up in the chamber and cause those failures to extract. With brass case ammo, my Bear Creek runs smoothly and is surprisingly accurate. I'd trust my life to that rifle for most social problems.

I have a transferable MP-5. Use 124 gr. NATO spec ammo, (1200 fps). Should run just fine.
