As a US citizen I love BBC and their coverage of how global politics play a major part of the younger generation of American people who look for valid coverage of their own country. American news media has gotten worse since trump was in power from 2017-2021!

First ever BBC Broadcast video I've seen that got age restricted

It is very stirring and well-done, but the content was slightly unrepresentative of the actual elections. It was for the National Assembly (legislature) which Macron as President was able to force - but he was not on any ballot. Le Pen is a member of the National Assembly, but she wants to run for President next time and therefore may not want the job of Prime Minister. In fact, the coalition of parties that ultimately won was neither Macron’s nor Le Pen’s - and none of those leaders (and quite possibly the next PM) were shown. This seemed more like the Pres election fr a couple years ago.

By a country mile (as John Bercow would say) this is the best version of King Arthur for election night we've ever heard. Absolutely brilliant version, shame we watched another channel though so we could avoid Kuenssberg

Loved how they got Big Bin in at 4:33 and 4:58. Sounds more like ITV News!

This is one of the best remakes of the Arthur Theme for many many years. Thanks to Rick Wakeman & an Amazing composure from David Lowe. It really is a fantastic theme for such an important event.

You forgot the NFP.

The intro, the buildup, the iconic chimes of Big Ben at the end as the Exit Poll was revealed. ...this theme is absolutely stellar. David Lowe has really brought Rick Wakeman's theme to life. Adding that BBC Flair with the pips and the thunderclaps... It's fantastic!

I was opposite Big Ben watching the coverage at 10pm. Chills. Such a good piece of work by Lowe.

In my opinion the most beautiful piece of Television the BBC puts on for us every 5 years - sometimes more often - but they outdid themselves this time!

This theme hit's all the right notes. BBC have always had a fantastic team of musicians. Also, this is the best version of their Election theme yet.

Simply a brilliant production. Had me on the edge of my seat. It had it all, a classic riff that sends a shiver down your spine with a modernised undertone. Only thing I would improve would be the way the exit poll was announced. Missing Dimbleby dearly there.

It is bizarre but wonderful that BBC News has better music than most primetime dramas.

I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that you've posted this, it is a vast improvement on 2019 that really brought Arthur into the 2020s. After waiting many years to hear the 2010-2017 exit poll music and it's still not available, it is a relief to just listen and take in this music in all its glory!

3:02 gives goosebumps leading into final 2 minutes

The few minutes before 10 o'clock had me shaking. Probably the best damn iteration of Arthur the beeb have used!

The way it all times up to Big Ben is very impressive. Must have taken some tweaking!

I’m 45 and I still can’t believe I lived to see another Labour victory on this scale, I didn’t think I would after the 2019 election. Loved the Arthur theme and this was the best opening sequence since 1992. Nothing will ever top 1992’s opening sequence, leading upto the infamous exit poll that went wrong!

I preferred the 2019 theme.

I thought I had been paying attention, yet I only realised *today* that the triangles that unfold actually roughly make out the shapes of the digits 2 and 4. I thought it had just been an abstract pattern!

The 2019 version was better in my opinion.

I was in Lincoln while the election was on. When the bells rang on the coverage I could hear the bells in the cathedral behind me ringing in unison. Absolute chills.

AMAZING! Have been looking all for this since Election Night. Those were five intense minutes I’ll never forget. The inclusion of Big Ben is a nice touch! Thank you!
