I feel what you are saying so much. Thank you for that. I am saved, and I will not deny my trust and faith in my Lord Jesus for self-righteous people who think I will lose my salvation because they condemn themselves when they sin. I am free from the law but I want to keep it for a life with God, not to be saved. Because that has already happened, I have been washed clean by the holy blood of our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ and now the growing can begin, out of grace and gratitude, not out of fear. Love your message brother. I'm looking for a true church teaching the true gospel of grace and simply can not find one. It's insane how much this definitional error has infiltrated the church.

There's a difference between cleansing ourselves and the cleansing of His blood. To trust in cleansing ourselves for eternal life is futile because it must be perfect cleansing. Only the blood of Christ can accomplish this for us as we trust only in Him. His "purging" of sins is permanent, our purging is simply impossible because if we break even one command we've broken them all (James 2:10). So what if you stop stealing, did you tell a lie? So what if you don't commit adultery, have you ever lusted after someone other than your mate? It's impossible for man to completely purge himself from sin because we were *made* sinners through Adam when we were born (Romans 5, 1 Cor. 15). Only the blood of Christ applied by faith in Him can cleanse us completely and for eternity. Hebrews 1:3 - Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: Romans 3 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

There remains no more sacrifice for sins if we go on willfully sinning after coming to the knowledge of the truth

As a saved person... i am Savior focused vs sin focused 😊. We all sin day in and day out. We will continue to sin until we take our last breath on earth. So there is no point in fretting over trying to be sinless perfection. Whew that is indeed a relief 😊.

So, I now have time to comment on your reminder. I was listening to this message this am getting ready for work. A coworker and mutual friend are both set hard against me because I don't partake of religion and church traditions. I rest in the assurance of my salvation 😊 Never did I think most of the persecution I would feel would be from churchites..... drunk on churchianity.
