@@benfromtheford its a solid reel but for heavy gear its not ideal cause the spool is too small for heavy line...i found on a light cast with a jerkbait i would nearly spool myseld everytime but for a lught setup uts very good 🎣👊

@nufflike1337 it is a great reel but i don't like how small the spool is...with heavy braid (which is wide enough) i found myself not being able to cast very far as id spool myself

@@Chrissykelly16 if you go to your local tacjle shop they will suggest soem good spots for whatever species your targering...i wouldnt know much about cavan fishing wise but i heard great perch and pike fishing around there. Buy mainly rivers or canals but br a safe bet 🎣👊

@@tsnfishing3784 How are you, did you find winter perch or are you not wasting your time looking for them? I try but it's not easy..

@pawelr.6257 i getring a lot of small ones and the od nice ones in ponds and small lakes...i also found a few in the deep end of my local lake which im gumna try again soon but the canal has been very slow thsi year and river they just seem to vanish in winter until spring 🎣👊

@@tsnfishing3784 Fish don't disappear 😉 Everyone says around that they gather somewhere, but that doesn't apply to perch. In winter, these larger perch separate from the herd and sit alone somewhere scattered around the river. The small ones stick to schools of roach and rudd, which is why these small perches are caught in these places. So walking the river now means looking for single, larger perches. If you find an interesting place, you'll catch two or three there and keep looking. That's why it's not easy.

@@pawelr.6257 oh yeah ive found i catch the odd small perch with groups or roach and rudd...larger perch are defo sokething i want to figure out in winter but well have to wat and see...ik lads who bfs fish all year in the river around my river and never seem to catch perch in wonter only big pike...i hope to try the lakes thsi winter for the bigger ones in the dep water 🎣👊

@@mlmc8795 i noramlly leave them in the net to prevent them from moving the shoal off. I do find it makes a difference...if im walking on the bank for a while ill only leave them in for a few minutea then ill release them...but in this video i was right on top of a big shoal so i kept them in the net until i finished then i put them back.

I dont trust the fg knot since a lad i knoe was using it for ahwile and it kept breaking off his lures...it might not look amazing in the water but id rather trust my knots not breaking then losing lures or fish 🎣👊

@@egg6390 just had to be on youtube comments ahah... yeah the small one is great aswell but keep in mind it is heavier wet then dry...it will get u some great fish...make sure you have some heavy braid...dont want to be losing them expensive lures 👊
