This channel is just a creative outlet for me to put up videos about all kinds of things. Hopefully some of it is entertaining. I don't blame you if you thumb down many of my videos because I'll be honest many of my videos have pretty low production value, are shaky, kind of edited in a crappy way, and generally run longer than they should.
So if you've stuck around and watched a few I am grateful. If you decided to subscribe, I am puzzled.
There are a few sub categories here.
YelpTube Reviews because you're too lazy to read my reviews on Yelp. However now most of the videos are supplemental to the yelp reviews so you gotta still read the reviews to get the full picture. I know, reading sucks. Sorry.
Travel videos are just that - places I've gone to and what I thought about them.
Product Reviews - I review stuff that I buy that I find interesting.
There are probably also other miscellaneous stuff on here.
Thanks for reading and maybe watching.

Product Review P0171 - Take Along Tool Kit (Melissa & Doug)
We got this wooden tool kit and it's rated for ages 3+ yrs. As with other Melissa & Doug toys this one is made out of wood. Overall quality is good. No burrs or rough edges. It includes a hammer, flat head screwdriver, and wrench along with a few wooden rail pieces and bolts with square nuts. Overall the toy is alright and my only gripe with it is instead of including some rectangular rails they could've included wood pieces so kids could build a simple car. For example they could've included a car shape block with four wheels that kids could assemble with the included bolts and nuts. Otherwise, as in our case, assembling the rails together in a weird long chain isn't very fun after a whi...

Product Review P0170 - Original Stomp Rocket
Просмотров 76День назад
We received the Original Stomp Rocket as a gift. It's an air powered toy rocket launch system. It's easy to put together and pretty fun to stomp on the bellows and launch rockets into the sky. The set comes with three rockets that have LED lights so if you launch them at night you can see where they are and where they land. You could probably find this off Amazon or go to your local Target or W...
Product Review P0169 - Furoshiki (Wrapping Sole Shoes) - Vibram
Просмотров 6728 дней назад
I've been wearing Furoshiki shoes for a while and they're very comfortable and quick to put on. Keep in mind there is barely any cushion or support for you feet and it's main goal is to protect your feet from the ground and keep them clean. Imagine wrapping your barefeet with some light fabric and very thin rubber sole. I wear Vibram Five Finger Toe shoes but sometimes when I'm going out I don'...
Product Review P0168 - Original Waterproof Outdoor Blanket (Costco)
Просмотров 36328 дней назад
Got this outdoor blanket from Costco since it was on sale. It's supposedly waterproof, but I wouldn't drop it into the pool. It's probably good for wet grass or the beach. It has a good 60 inch by 72 inch footprint and rolls up to a small convenient size for carrying via handle or strap.
Product Review P0167 - Blippi Recycling Truck (Jazwares)
Просмотров 339Месяц назад
This Blippi Recycling/Garbage Truck is pretty fun for a 3 year old who is a fan of Blippi. Overall the toy is pretty well made and includes a recycle container, trash container, trash cube, recycle cube, recycle/garbage truck, and Blippi Figure that can sit in the truck cab. The truck has a button over the truck cab that has a few sound effects and Blippi phrases. This was a good toy for our ki...
Product Review P0166 - Carpenter Dess Up Set (Black + Decker)
Просмотров 487Месяц назад
We got this as a gift from a relative. It's a 12 piece tool/accessories toy that includes a hard hat, tool box, and orange safety vest. It's a pretty fun set for toddlers 3 yrs and up. Our test subject really enjoyed pretending to fix things around the house. Other items in the set include: hammer, pliers, wrench, screwdiver, drill bit, saw, hand drill, and two other bits for the hand drill. Yo...
YelpTube Review 0163 - Candeeland (Santa Ana, CA)
Просмотров 62Месяц назад
Candeeland is an indoor playground where kids can run out some energy on slides, multilevel platforms, and other various obstacles. It's in the Mainplace Mall in Santa Ana, Ca so it would be convenient for a parent to hang out there while other parents/adults went about shopping in the mall. There is a concession stand with some light snacks and a party room if you wanted to have a birthday par...
Product Review P0165 - Foam Aircraft Launcher (Wesfuner)
Просмотров 468Месяц назад
This is foam airplane launcher toy includes three planes and a gun launcher. It's pretty easy to put the planes together and overall it's pretty fun to launch planes across the room. Each plane as a string of LED lights that have three modes. The gun launcher pushes the planes roughly 20 feet. We got this off Amazon here: www.amazon.com/dp/B0BCQS2BM2 I'm not affiliated with this company or Amaz...
Product Review P0164 - 100 Wooden Blocks Classic Toy (Melissa & Doug)
Просмотров 128Месяц назад
This is the old school wooden blocks that kids ages 2 can used to build various structures. This set was from Melissa & Doug. We've bought a few of their toys in the past and the quality is pretty good. I will say that one red arch piece was not up to code with one leg shorter than the other. Other than that the rest of the 99 pieces were fine. I bought this off Amazon here: www.amazon.com/dp/B...
YelpTube Review 0162 - Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken (Santa Ana, CA)
Просмотров 35Месяц назад
I love me some fried chicken. Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken does not disappoint. I was introduced to Gus's by some old coworkers and I gotta say the food is delicious. The chicken is very tasty and moist (even the white meat). I like that Gus's menu is very straightforward and simple. They don't try to gussy it up with other stuff but stick to their bread & butter which in this case is delic...
YelpTube Review 0161 - The Alley (Irvine, CA) - Irvine Spectrum

This is a very short review mainly for myself to remind myself what I thought about the milk tea from The Alley. I often forget what a some milk tea places are like when I don't frequent them often. They either have to be really standout (good or bad) for me to remember otherwise they'll just land in the "Okay this will do." Category. The Alley wasn't very good. DIY - Replacing the Moen 1222 Posi-Temp Single Handle Tub/Shower Replacement Cartridge
Просмотров 6202 месяца назад
There was a slow leak that was coming from the shower handle. I've replaced the cartridge in the video before about 9-10 years ago so it doesn't surprise me that this cartridge has started to fail especially considering that the water in my area is very hard. The change of this cartridge is pretty straightforward, you will likely need a few tools (I've listed what I used below). Total time to r...
YelpTube Review 0160 - LOL (Laugh Out Loud) Kids Club (Las Vegas, NV)
Просмотров 5993 месяца назад
We decided to change things up and check out LOL Kids Club instead of our usual Kangamoo Indoor Playground. LOL is geared for older kids (4 yrs and older) since most of the play area is a gigantic jungle gym. Kangamoo is better for young toddlers (ages 2 and older) as there are more pretend areas such as kitchen, cashier area and children cars for kids to ride in. Both are great to spend an aft...
Product Review P0163 - Twin Double High Airbed (Enerplex)
Просмотров 894 месяца назад
This airbed inflates pretty quickly (under 60 seconds). It collapses down to a very small and convenient size. The built in air pump is great so you don't need to worry about a second piece of equipment. Overall the airbed is good for maybe a few nights sleep but since it's so high it does wobble when you shift or move creating a feeling of instability that takes some getting used to. Inflated ...
Product Review P0162 - Kids Earmuffs for Hearing Protection (TacGuru)

The folks over at TacGuru reached out to me and asked me to give an honest review of their Kids Earmuffs for hearing protection. I've purchased two other kids earmuffs previously, Snug Baby (I do not recommend) and Kids Earmuff by 3M (not bad, but could be better). I did a comparison against the ones from 3M and I gotta say that the ones from TacGuru are better for a few reasons mentioned in th...

How would you get it in the closed position if it wont close should I pull the red lever?
Do also HAVE to reprogram it or is it fine if I dont
Pulling the red lever (or cord that goes to the red lever) decouples the opener from the garage door itself and then you can open the door manually as if there were no opener in place. This is usually for scenarios such as a power outage. However if the door won't close at all, for example the door won't move down then it might be a bigger issue like something wrong with the spring or door opener itself. I'm assuming your opener does move the door up/down and you're getting the bounce problem I had in the video. Then you can make the opener move the door up or down to exactly where you want during the programming stage. Here's a link to the manual if you need it: www.garagedoorzone.com/assets/images/M4500e_M4700e_Opener_Manual.pdf
I would reprogram it since it would ensure your setup is running as intended. Section 8-16 in the manual details how to set things up.
The sign is bUrnt or sum lol and it’s so fun!❤ went there for my birthday party
I love the new song so much, you should upload it individualized so we can all hear it lol
Did you have to turn off your water supply before starting? I think im going to have to shut the main off but know i need to flush it. Will water come out if its not shut off?
Yes, you need to shut off the main water line before you start removing the cartridge, if you don't then as soon as you remove the cartridge water will flow out.
@@bensaysthings so in order to flush it will I just turn the main water line on just a tiny bit?
@@halie051994 Yes, that's what I did. After removing the cartridge I wiped out/removed any debris or crusty scale then went to the main supply, turned it on full for 1-3 seconds and flushed it out. Then reassembled everything. My supply line has a 90 degree ball valve and not a turn knob so turning it and off at FULL was easy. You might not need to go full though.
@@bensaysthings thanks!! im waiting on my. free warranty cartridge replacement for Moen
I hope Ben finally got a new chair 😂
I did get a new chair from Costco, but before that the saga of that old brown chair continued as I put on a stretch chair cover. ruclips.net/video/Kd7kWLWOwss/видео.htmlsi=VlW-RQrz8w1pn6EG
Too much unnecessary talk.
Did you think it's possible unassembled, the electronics on mine stop working and I will like to fix it, but I didn't find a way to unassembled the handle
I think it might be tough to pull the handle bar from the bike. You might have to just remove the screws from the bottom side. Accessing some of them might be tricky though without a universal joint adapter.
Like your camera focus on food, will try this place
Hope you enjoy
How to charge these batteries?
You can take out the small shaker unit and remove the back cover with a philips screwdriver. It takes one size C battery.
Thank You
You're welcome
Picked one up for $14.99 today. Thinking it will be useful for beach days with the kids. Opted for the stary night variety.
Hope you enjoy it!
How easy is it to roll up?
@@modrojojo_7455 super simple to roll up
It rolls up pretty easy. The attached label provides easy step by step folding instructions.
I have one and it’s great for the job
Indeed. I love mine.
Thank you!
Welcome!
Omg. Mannnn. My kids used to love blippi. This would have been perfect in the past. Thankfully. They hate blippi now. I still remember all their songs. Like dinosaurs.. dinosaurs.. why cant we all be like dinosaurs.
He's at the height of Blippi fandom. Also Ms. Rachel and Paw Patrol. I had to freakin' buy the Kraft Mac & Cheese Paw Patrol at the grocery store since the standard Mac & Cheese box didn't have "Marshall" on the front and magically the Paw Patrol Mac & Cheese tasted better to him?!
@@bensaysthings That boy knows his paw patrol!
Was there a lot of big kids
The average kid age running around was mostly 7-10 year olds. Grown ups are allowed to go everywhere their kids go so you're able to help out your little one as needed. The older kids' parents were usually the ones lounging on the couches while toddlers often had older siblings or parents wandering behind them.
Love these irvine reviews!
Thanks. Candeeland is actually in Santa Ana though.
The expiration date on mine is for 20 hooray I've got a high cake😊
I’m so glad I don’t have kids that kid looks like a nightmare
Thank you for confirming I’m not just an idiot who couldn’t get this thing off.
Yeah removing it needed some effort and a screwdriver. It's not just childproof it's grown-up proof.
I was dead set on 888 Japanese bbq ,coming from 760 to a wedding in late April but now because of your review this place just became a priority!! Great review
Thanks! 888 Japanese has more sushi options in their appetizers while Gangnam has more Korean flavors. The grilled meat selection are very similar at both locations and both great quality. You can't go wrong with either.
You literally helped a single momma change this !! Thank you
That's awesome! Glad the video helped!
Do the vibrations actually help your baby? I'm thinking of buying one.
Doesn't help my kid at all. We didn't even bother turning it on after a while. The bouncer is mainly good to contain him and allow him to play with the toys.
Thanks for the help. I was able to change the flapper out with out having to call anyone to do it for me.
That's awesome! Glad the video helped.
My shower only has cold water. But the tub spout right below it has hot and cold water. The tub spout also has a leak. Think it could still be this? 😅
I’ve been living with this problem for more than 10 years. Just got a garage company charged me $500 but couldn’t fix it and they want another $1000 for putting in new head. I have no idea about this tab. Really awesome.
Another $1000 after they couldn't fix it? That's pretty outrageous. I hope you eventually got the door issue fixed.
great videos! i make music as "ben lin" as well, what a coincidence:)
Mine had the exact same symptoms, appreciate the video! I was on a mission to replace the rpm sensor before I saw your video. Garage door guys wanted to replace the whole thing of course.
Cool, glad the video helped. The RPM sensor error seems like the default error code. I got it a few times and it was maddening until I finally figured out and replaced that belt tab. Yeah, garage door people or HVAC people are some of the sneakiest repairmen I've encountered. They'll gladly replace the entire unit, but when it comes to diagnosis or actual repair then suddenly they can't seemed to resolve the issue.
4:24 --> "Clip the two brackets onto each side": I see in the video that there is frame already installed on the overflow tube where the flapper brackets are clipped to, but I don't have it on my old toilet, so the flapper is not secured. Does that frame come with the flapper? My flapper was part of the same package as the fill valve but it didn't come with a frame to clip the flapper to. Any advice? Thanks!
The frame doesn't come with the flapper seen in the video. The frame with the two "ears" comes with the flush valve assembly. Since you mentioned your toilet is a bit older the original flapper (you're replacing) and flush valve assembly might be an older design. I think you'd either have to get a compatible "Older style" flapper or replace the Flush Valve assembly to get those "ears" to clip on the brackets. Hope this helps.
Looks good from here
You should see the part 2 video, it's not as good as I thought.
Thank you, you helped me a lot... My husband had lost the manual
You are welcome!
Great explanation! Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Always change the cap too
Thank you! We so appreciate your wonderful advice! We've had this problem for years. Like the person whose comment appears before this one, we were told by our garage door company that we needed to replace the entire device. That didn't make sense to me, so we decided to wait, and time passed. I just now installed the tab, and the door works properly! The only problem is that the door stops about 1 1/2" from the floor. I haven't messed with the settings on the opener and am wondering if I can avoid that by moving the tab (i.e., removing the one I installed and installing a new one 1 1/2" nearer to or farther from the opener. Does that make sense? If so, do you know whether I should move it nearer to or farther from the housing of the opener?
You could move the tab a closer or farther from the door, but I would recommend reprogramming the opener. The reason being if your tab position is slightly off and the motor closes the garage door to more than 1.5" then it would technically be trying to push the door into the floor by however much you're off of the 1.5". This might cause the motor to overheat or could trigger the overlimit sensor and bounce the door back up because the opener thinks it has run into an obstruction. Here's a copy of the manual if you need help reprogramming it. You'd follow the steps on pages 18-22 of the manual. www.garagedoorzone.com/assets/images/M4500e_M4700e_Opener_Manual.pdf
Thank you!!!
You’re awesome, thank you so much for this video

❤have you seen any strength gains and plz drop your routine
I haven't been following a routine and mainly squeeze the hand gripper at my desk throughout the day while working on my laptop. I don't really carve out time to specifically work my grip strength but I believe it has improved since I set the tension all the way to 60kg and it does feel easier than when I first started.
@@bensaysthings awdome
Thanks, very helpful, exactly what I needed. I only replaced the mixing portion, the valve on ours was fine as well. The components on the unit did not say "Kohler" on mine either, which is very suspicious. I'm sure they've never been replaced before, this house was built / finished in 2012, but was never occupied continuously, so they just couldn't have seen much use. Both showers, actually, failed with same problem, I figured to tackle one first, then I'd know exactly how to fix the other. The other still works, barely, you have to turn it all the way hot to get hot, then back down, nearly all the way to get cold mixing to adjust temp. The one I fixed today had failed completely, no cold at all, no matter what. New mixer, new washers/gaskets, a little WD-40 to lube everything as it went back together, and voilá!
Glad the video was helpful!

I clicked on this video because the thumbnail showed you laying down on it seductively. This was total click bait because I had to wait a long time to finally get to that scene at the end of the video!
Yep, I had to leverage my sexiness to pike people's interest and apparently it worked!
I've got one of these. They break after like 10+ years. It's annoying to replace on some (it can really get stuck). Man your's looked so easy to replace.
Yeah, the hard water can really jam the cartridge inside the pipe. I wasn't easy for me either and I had to really pry the thing out with some pliers. I think if you got the removal tool from Home Depot it would come out easier, but I didn't want to spend the money.
The handle doesn’t cone out
@@mariaoladovich3620 Hi Maria.. if you want to remove the handle... the one shown on the video has a metal tip cover that comes off with probably something like a flat end screwdriver. 1. Remember.. please cover the bathtub water drain hole! 2. Again.. the handle is screwed on. Take off the cover (it's just a small piece covering the screw). Its at the base of the handle. 3. Once you've removed the screw.. the handle will just slide out I think?
Price
You can check Amazon for the latest price. I got it for around $13 with the remote originally.
Thankyou!
Glad the video was helpful.
My flapper closes too fast. I have to flip the handle a second time to get it to flush properly. I've adjusted the flapper both ways (min to max) and it doesn't help.
Same here, did you find a solution?
I have a question, I bought this chair but I lost the package of screws and I don't know where I can get the screws, can someone help me please? 😢😢
Thank you for uploading this, looking for a low wattage mini fridge/cooler for a van conversion I'm doing and your review helped me save time and money! Neat little gadget, but because of it's reliance on ambient temps, I don't think it's going to do too well storing food items inside a car in Arizona heat! Thanks, great review!
Glad the video helped. Yeah I could see how people might think this will do what a normal mini fridge would regardless of ambient temps. The plus side is you can use it to keep food warm, but the capacity is probably too small to really store that much food.
Thank you!! 😊
Glad the video helped!
I ended up returning it for a Korky
Glad it finally worked out. Definitely sucks that you had so much trouble with the Fluidmaster.
Hi! I can't insert the toy bar. It's not making any clicking noise when I try to insert. Is it support to make any clicking noise?
There's no retaining feature for the toy/mirror bar so it doesn't really "Click" in. The "click" sound in the video is just me slamming the bar into the retaining holes. As a result it's actually pretty easy to remove.
My exact garage door motor doesn't do the auto-reverse when it senses an obstruction. How would I fix that setting?
It might be the limits or force sensitivity might need to be reprogrammed. Not knowing the exact issue all I can offer is the manual. www.garagedoorzone.com/assets/images/M4500e_M4700e_Opener_Manual.pdf Hope it helps, otherwise you might need to call a technician.
Cync is the absolute worst kind of smart outlet. It constantly disconnects from the wifi, it constantly signs you out of the app, and it needs a two step verification to sign back in. I have had a cync smart outlet for a year and I have retyped my username and password into their app, then had to go to my email to retrieve the six digit verification code at least a hundred times. So annoying.
Yeah I agree. I got smart plugs from WEMO. They're way better.
I literally bought this one today as the one I wanted was over the price I expected, it is good but I'm having issues with one of the wheels and its a little uneven no matter what I do. But for the price I payed and for its purpose I guess its okay.
