No One Said This Was Easy || Mid Spring Blues
Don't mind me. I'm just using RUclips as my personal therapy session. Weeds are going full speed ahead, bugs are a menace, I'm hot and tired, hope is fading....BUUUUTTT...God is still good. This is the hardest moment of any season, the moment where I have to trust the most when I'm the most tired and worn out. Not easy but it's where we are. This video was meant to be a bit different and less bluesy, but honesty prevailed and this is where I am.

Scag Liberty Z || Tough or Overrated?
Просмотров 6 тыс.3 месяца назад
Looking at our Scag Liberty Z. We got it to mow the lawn but it also gets used to mow around garden plots, mini orchard and today, even open fields! This Scag is really tough and the purchase has been worth it so far! Farming is nothing if not a exercise in improvising, so that's what we did today making anything and everything a farming implement. #lawn #mower #farming #scag #productreview

    Had Kubota 48 for yrs just bought a liberty z 48 and I love it cut quality is amazing and I've been officially won over I cut 35 yards a week and the stripes it lays are amazing not to mention it's the only model outta all the brands in this class with the 3100 hydros all others are 2800 series the hydro transmission is the most expensive part on the zero turn mowers so I tend to shop for the drive train over everything else and the liberty z has the best in class period I believe the class at s 5-7k price range

      Who ever thought it could be fun to mow a lawn? Purchased a Scag 48” about 5 years ago and it is bulletproof. Same engine as your unit. Just change the oil at start of season and that is it. Simply runs and cuts excellent every time. Replaced the seat setup with spring load immediately upon purchase and that made a big comfort plus.

    We just bought our carpet from Lowes and their contractor over measured/bid our project by almost 200 square feet. The installer showed up with multiple addresses worth of material in the van so we could not tell how much waste/leftover material remained. Thank you for this info. I have 2 females and 1 male AGH (for breeding/meat). I saw another RUclips video from another guy who was attacked by his AGH boar and put in the hospital. With your boar getting out so often, were you ever concerned? Part of why I wanted this breed was the docile nature but I know that's a relative term b/c docile might mean only slightly less likely to attack you than another breed. Do you have to separate the boar from the females?

    • @eternalharvestfarm
      @eternalharvestfarm 9 месяцев назад

      So our boar is very very sweet and totally described as docile. Now that being said, he did knock over my son once when he was little and freaked him out, but I saw the whole thing and super obvious he was trying to play with him and just head butted him in the chest. Son was ok, boar backed off. He just doesn't know his own strength and holy crap they are strong. So just because docile, you still have to be aware. My wife was nipped on the leg by him once. Just a big nasty bruise, nothing serious, it was a nip to him but incredibly painful to her. When he gets out we lead him back with a bucket of food, well after a while he just wants the food and he'll let you know, you gotta stay on guard. We keep him away from females to eliminate inbreeding, because he will, and to control when our sow is bred. But like I said, he is sweet. He loves belly rubs and scratched behind his ear. He likes to play but we have to be careful getting him riled up because he is incredibly strong and when he gets going you can get hurt, he's a little kid with a NFL linebacker's strength. Never once have I been afraid of him attacking or being aggressive towards me. Now remember, animals are just like humans and not robots, animals are each different creations with different temperaments.

    • @eternalharvestfarm
      @eternalharvestfarm 9 месяцев назад

      I should note we have had him since he was like 6 months old. IDK if that makes a difference with our relationship with him, we raised him.

    I repairs home depot lowes and plenty other companies installations. It all depends on who shows up to install. Mostly, it's going to be a human that's doing physical labor for money to survive. It's just a job

    • @eternalharvestfarm
      @eternalharvestfarm 3 месяца назад

      Yup. For a small job and not something that needs to be perfect, the cheap carpet and cheap install I think was worth it. If I wanted nicer quality I would go elsewhere, but I got what I paid for and overall was happy with the job that was done for the money I paid. Just gotta keep expectations in line when going big box.

    • @eternalharvestfarm
      @eternalharvestfarm Год назад

      Well in 2022 God helped a lot lol. We started separating different crops more to be able to run the tractor through with the tiller, and this year we even started spacing rows for potatoes, tomatoes, onions and cucurbits wide enough to run the tractor between which helped a lot. Mulch/wood chips helps a ton too. Ultimately the best weed management I've found is Time and Effort. Unfortunately the former is in short supply.

      A variety of things. Last ditch insecticide, I'd rather spray than lose a crop. We've used it for tick control on the pigs and I perimeter spray a couple buildings with it. People also spray their dogs and clothing/tents with it to repel ticks.
