I don't think the quality of the film did him no favours, it made Elvis look a lot worse than in reality. The female & camera crew filming didn't realise there was anything' unusual until Elvis forgot the words to a song- not by his physical appearance. Same thing with the band and his bodyguards. He looked a lot better in those 8mm armature home videos filmed around the same timeframe

no disrespect to any other cover but joshua literally was another level i mean the guy was a monster and bodied the song in every aspect

He was bloated from water retention and backed up bowels. His doctor was over perscribing his medications and it was causing his heart to fail. He passed away 7 weeks later from a heart attack. He was truly a spectacular performer and an amazing person. I'd recommend watching his live 68 welcome home special. There are many great performances on there. I'd recommend "If I Can Dream". Especially the one where he's wearing the white suit.

I prefer Candice’s version. She sings it with more of a resentment tone, anger, aggression, hurt and pain. Tom sounds good for a male singer either way this song though. But Candice’s version is very flawless and crystal clear

Elvis was an incredible singer and entertainer but he had a very bad manager Colonel Tom Parker. He manipulated, stole and overworked Elvis. Instead of taking him to the hospital to rest, his manager didn't care, all he cared about was the money because Elvis was everybody's cash cow. Rest in peace Elvis 🙏🏽😢❤️

"Doctor Nick" threw pain medication at Elvis, and other meds instead of treating Elvis' underlying issues, which were many. Doctor Nick should have went to prison for the rest of his life. Elvis needed SPECIALISTS to treat his conditions, and if he had that, he may still be alive today. The world lost a HUGE ICON. The largest of them all. Much more could have been done medically for Elvis had he only known he was being taken advantage of, and lied to by his doctor. Literally abused in the end by those closest to him. His doctor, his ex wife, his staff.

I,ll take Elvis in the fifties the sixties ,and the seventies ,this man was a force to be reckoned with ,he was very sick here ,he had glaucoma ,enlarged heart ,colon problems ,and he had alot of aches ,and pains ,but he never wanted to dissapoint his fans

This performance was aired on TV. Two months after his death. It always makes me sad to see him in that condition but his voice was great to the end. He gave it his soul and he still showed his humor and humanity. RIP my beloved Elvis.
