Captain & Tennille Cameo on Vega$ 1980
A lighthearted cameo appearance from Mar 5 1980. The album Dan Tanna (Robert Urich) refers to is "Make Your Move", Captain and Tennille's hot new album of the time. From it, their #1 smash, "Do That To Me One More Time", had kicked off the 1980s with 8 weeks in the top 3. Still a classic today, it would go on to rank in the top 4 of the year and top 20 for the whole decade.

With this year's Orange Bowl parade happening tonight, I pulled up this wonderful clip from 22 years ago when Toni kicked off the parade with her usual effervescent style!
OMG what a gem!
Love her voice! 🎶great song and music too!
Fun!
Elle est trop belle
I wonder why she is lypsynching to the record?! Maybe she had a cold
Toni is a super and smooth entertainer!!Loved her since she got popular in the 70's!! Keep on singin'! ❤🎼🎶🎵🎼🎶🎵
She is a great singer. So underrated. They were do God together. She is right on tune. Doesnt miss a beat. Bravo. 😊😊😊😊😊
The show 10 years before this. The girls back up . Was having fun . As you well see.. this guy has three women.

What a voice. Toni has a place in my heart forever and I'm 54
❤❤
I didn't know that Toni and the captain were on the drama Vegas. Daryl was talking in it since he wasn't much of a talker plus being shy as well. Pam Johnson McPherson ks a captain and tennille listener 😊
The Captain was an attractive man. His musical talent made him even more so.
what ever weather! LOVE.........💀
Of course they did eventually divorce and her book revealed how miserable she was with Daryl and never could get love from him.
Toni was sexxy😍
N Bćn n. N😅
Very talented lip syncer as well
A husband who never talks is somehow always perplexing to a wife who never shuts up
Thanks for sharing this! Never seen this one before. Had to do it double take with Daryl.... didn't recognize him at first. He looks good with the beard.
Wouldn't it be nice for your special someone to sing their rendition of this to a long, lost loved one!
An upbeat declaration of love!
1970's classic the duo of former beach boy Daryl Dragon captain and Tenille sweethearts of yv show 1977-1981stayed married and death do us part proverbs 18:22 God said it's great that men should be married 🙏 and he passed rip thanks
Don't feel bad Robert Urich if you didn't buy Capt. & Tennille's "Make Your Move" album.... Nobody else bought it either LMAO
Actually many people bought that album. It was certified gold for over 1 million copies sold. Plus is contained a #1 hit single
Probably my favorite of theirs!
as a big fan i liked their music but after they left A&M records for Casablanca their music somehow changed. I felt it was different, too many ballads and 2 disco tracks. To me, "Make Your Move" was the penultimate worst album of theirs before "keeping our love warm". Their "More Than Dancing (1982)" album however was an improvement
Vine por CHP
She is so sweet.
So many Hollywood couples in show business... Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis oh my God ‼️ Legends... Captain and Tennille,,❤️
essa tocava na Excelsior a " maquina do som"
Toni is also one of the most beautiful woman in the music business
Best music ever 💘 it thanks 👋
Too bad love didn't keep them together 😳......
I had a big crush on Toni and I was a little boy Love the variety show❤she’s still gorgeous💯🤗
Bet toni swallows
One of the sexiest women to ever walk the face of the planet… and even in heels!!!!
One of the best voices…. Ever.
Toni Tennille sings back up vocals on Pink Floyd's album, The Wall.
Pop culture classic
And to think the captain never really loved her.
Probably more accurate to say he couldn’t love. Plenty of older people put up with each other for 30 years, one says enough of this coldness, I’m out, and the other is shocked because their own self absorption was completely normal to them. I don’t think he had the positivity or the skills to look outside himself and appreciate the gift that she was. She was God’s gift to him on a silver platter, no question.

They were lovely
Brings back memories
Siempre creí que esa cancion era más actual
Always loved them. All my comments are registering as replies. Thought I wouldn't notice...think again!!!! Just another faked phone setup.
Wasn’t my favorite back the.. but playing pinball and the jukebox back in the 70s at pioneer park brings back fond memories
gran canción de Neil Sedaka,
That’s more like it
The sad part it didn't keep them together
Not in a legal sense but in the sense that matters, in the heart, they remained in constant contact and even more so as Daryl's health declined. Toni was with him right to his final moments with love and care.
heard about this duo from the book The Hardcore Diaries
Love it!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
