Now I service my bikes, tops end, bearings clutches etc. but hours I put on orange bikes. BTW i ride alot. my 2013 300 - 500 hrs and did multiple top end and split the cases at 500 hrs sold to my brother and he still rides it. My 17 300 same type of maintenance put 414 hrs and then sold it. The Kid I sold it too still rides it My 20 TPI 300, 400 hours had to do crank at 200 hrs because I ran it out of coolant in a race and it was raining couldn't smell seized piston. the dreaded radiator hose on the 20-23 xcw being too close to power valve cover, my fault. still have bike My 22 TPI 300 125 hrs nothing yet other than gear oil and air filters 124 HRs the constant air filter change I've never done. when dirty I change. depends on conditions.

Why use the clutch when u can just tap the throttle in 1st gear and pop the front up?

If your not a professional rider, do you really need to spend almost double the money for a bike?

2025 KTM 300 sx is only 1,300 more. Yamaha 250x list for 8099.00 dealers are less than retail in Michigan even if you are lucky. 5,600 would be a great deal. If Yamaha would add an engine balancer and hy clutch it would be a much better seller KTM = hydraulic clutch, engine balancer, E starter. For a 35.00 plug you can delete the oil pump and mix the fuel.

2025 KTM 250 sx is only 1,300.00 more

Thinking about grabbing a 23 yz250x for $5600 locally. Never had a 2 stroke, I’m a 450 supermoto guy but I really want one for wood riding. Looks like a great platform.

I bought a 24 YZ250x 1 year ago in November. I used to race in the 70's a 400 CZ. I have a Honda 450f but lost a lot of weight in my latter years maybe cause I'm 72 haha. Going back to a 2 stroke I was back in my environment. But no one has said anything about how stiff the front forks are on a 162LB rider. They were like riding a jackhammer. I ride in the sand in Oregon. Soooo I switched the fork springs to 42'S--no good, I went to 38'S still the same. I set all the clickers to full soft, not a lot of change. I bit the bullet and sent them off to Race Tech----WOW what a bike!!!! I have never been able to have anyone do this before ( never could afford it) I felt like I could put the front, actually the whole bike where ever I wanted it. Man set the bike up to your weight is the answer.

My white 250X the cable pull on the clutch is just fine it's really light to me so I'm kind of in the dark and not understanding what you're talking about

my ktm is about 320 hours , top end done only once , i change the air filter once a year at best & ride sand 🤷‍♂️

Pull 2 springs out of the clutch. I have the exact same bike it made the pull much easier.

Can u dump the clutch from any position or it has to be in the rolling bite point ? While getting the rpms up of course

Compressing the suspension with hard breaking to rebound into the wheelie without gaining speed is a great tip ive never heard before! Thanks for the video, you did a great job!
