I'm currently struggling with the decision on whether to get a manual or auto. I feel like I would prefer the manual 90% of the time. The other 10% would be getting beat by an auto car 😢

I’m looking forward to eventually getting a S550 GT with a manual I would really like the manual but traffic probably gonna negate getting an automatic. I don’t know. We’ll see. I will tell you this though the new mustang the 2024 I really hate that rear end and the iPad dash so it’s gonna be 23 or earlier with the analog gauges. I sure love that orange color.

The MT-82 was the only reason why I didn't get a GT and picked up a Mach 1. That trans feels so 🤮

btw mt82 sucks because the shifter is linked to chassis instead of the tranny itself, make it harzardous when shifting, and when you do aggresive pull the chassis twisting+ wheel hop don't help, a better short shifter will make it great

It’s NOT better than the 10sp auto. Maybe driver experience is about it for those that like to drive and feel the car.

The trans ain't that bad.....The shifter has to go and install a Mcleod clutch......

I have a lot of problems with my manual transmission but I don't do digs anyway Dick's were on your whole entire car and that's why I don't do them I'd rather do a roll any day I prefer those better anyway😊

Yeah I just got a mustang and the second to third shift is shitty. The clutch is meh.

I put some 20 dollar energy suspension bushing in the shifter that's mounted to the body and it helped a lot I like the stock shifter I haven't been locked out yet

My 11 gt w/ 16k has no issues now. Changed the fluid to the BG and it cleared up the lock out.

never put "N" when you drive!!! Only in slow speed.

can someone tell me about the Clutch used in this 6 speed manual transmission Ford Mustang GT ? Is it having Dual Clutch( Somewhere I read) ? In Automatic Transmission actually Dual clutch is used.

Former owner of a 2012 GT 6speed. 3rd gear disintegrated at around 60,000 miles.

For the price of the mustang, there should be a Tremec, automatically ...

crazy to see everyone is saying the same thing. i got a '22 manual gt and 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd are the worst feeling gears for me. always feel like im grinding gears and destroying my clutch but i cant tell. aint no way ford still puts this in theor cars instead of either fixing it or just making the tremec standard

i stopped the video when you said cloudy weather is cozy. I 100% AGREE. overcast weather is my favorite. The norm is to like sunny weather cuz you can be outside. its a social norm ive never acclimated to. Also you find rain snow and clouds dont stop ppl from doing activities you would think they wouldnt such as going to the beach when its raining a bit or still being out soicalizing regardless the weather conditions.

just picked up a 2018 6 speed, the car is gorgeous it drives good but it does have a clutch and shifter issue. I t looks like the previous owner installed some aftermarket mods including the shifter which is terrible I have a really had time getting the gears in, the clutch also is harder then normal, I will replace asap because I have to drive this car, if anyone here has a eom shifter and a new gem clutch please reply.
