Wrapped around your finger- live by The Policed
Full version of 'Wrapped around your finger" of tribute band The Policed (www.thepoliced.com). This was taped a Tributeland Eindhoven in November 2022. Thanks to organizer Roger Rutten (Tirr Agency).
The band modeled its performance to the live version of The Police in the reunion tour 2007/2008. A percussion backing track was used.
The video was shot and edited by our friend Bart and Pieter. Sound was mixed by Hans.
The Policed are:
Anton Arema (bas, leadvocals)
Barth de Klerk (guitar, moog, vocals)
Kees de Jong (drums, percussion, vocals).
All rights of the songs were by Sting, now at Universal Music Publishing.

The legendary The Police recorded their 3rd album at the Wisseloord Studio’s in Hilversum, the Netherlands in 1980. With the help of their producer/engineer Nigel Gray they created a brilliant album -Zenyatta Mondatta-. je suis un peu confus. C'est un titre que je possède assez bien à la basse (4 cordes), là je trouve que c'est un peu brouillon. On perd la structure et surtout le magnifique groove de l'original, alors ça me plait assez peu. Je ne connaissais pas ce tribute band.

The groove is not happening, from the drums on up through the bass. Surely you’ve watch the live Synchronicity live material? There’s almost a Latin kind of feel, almost bossa kind of groove that really needs to be there to move the song forward. You’ve got so many sounds right but the groove needs work.
pafaitement d'accord, c'est exactement ce que j'ai écris dès la fin de l'écoute, pendant que je faisais le cover à la basse. Il y a trop de d'effets divers, je ne sais pas trop ce qu'il fait avec sa basse mais on perd tout le jus de ce titre pourtant excellent en terme de groove.
