Even though it's a bit late, I would leave the Talbot Horizon exactly as it is, no modifications whatsoever apart from obviously getting rid of all the rust and making it look like new but if otherwise leave it exactly as it is, it's probably the most rarest classic car in Britain and I miss these cars very much how's my dad had one a long time ago but sadly scrapped it, his wasn't an ultra the one my dad had was a GLE.

Dang you skipped showing the wire spool installing .manual said the spool should unroll clockwise .but that would make the wire enter the guide at almost a 90 degree angle so that can't bee

Even thow I had loads of all different VWs, air cooled and water cooled over the years, I had a 900 Saab for 3 years, right up their with one of the best cars I’ve ever owned great to drive and you always felt safe in it 👍

Hi Andy why are you moving the Ghia home from a dry garage in the winter to work outside at home when all your part and fabrication tools are at the work shop ?? When i restored my Ghia my garage was a god send. All the best with the project👍

Shop looking good. Ghia looking ok . YEAH always put on the grinders guard just in case 😂 . But you cannot tell me you don’t and haven’t grinder with guard off. Once floor rust was cut out to show an easy repair plus heater channel bottom plate . Then happy days !! Just cannot wait to get the ghia home 👍

Dust Control It can be done but would need an investment in a fan setup blowing against a water filter . Water catches dust well

Thats the same idea as the contour sander. 75mm diameter by 100mm wide. Knocks it down quick. I will be using mine next week to strip paint.

Andy have you ever tried a belt sander on a full paint strip I helped mate going back a few year and it soon sorted out the filler and primer
