That's my exact car in Pearl White. After 2 and a half years, I'm still excited to drive it. Over 65000 miles and only changing fluids as recommended. Power on the road? Plenty for me. No complaints. If I need more I'll buy a V8 vehicle

I'm going sale my 04 tacoma to many issues. Added 5100 bilstien and falken 16 tires my brake pads and rotors always go out less than 3 months. And the ride is very sloppy. Before installing the shocks the ride was always smooth no issue and no breaks issues

If yall are wondering if they are actually reliable.. got my ‘03 double cab with 304k miles at 16. I just hit 333k miles and just did a 1500 mile road trip with it. Also he lying about gas mileage. You will probably get between 13-18 mpg on the 3.4 V6 for city/highway 😂

My 07 is at 309k miles with a completely stock drivetrain sans tune. If you maintain it even remotely regularly it’ll last easily to a 1/2 million miles. The only problem Ive ever experienced with either of the gmt900 Tahoes Ive owned, has been keeping the rust at bay.

I agree totally i have a sport 2004 1500 hemi ram best truck EVER its now 20 years old everyone wants to buy it off me NO WAY its fast i chased in tow trucks for years had every make of truck over the years nothing compares from gmc to ford even had a ford lightning with a paxton lumbar seats super fast 454 ss you name it Dodge just stands out front to back they have a factory noise of there own always recognize it without looking just a great truck my daughter has a 8 inch lift kit on her 2005 so hot

Just got my first truck ever. 03 Ram 1500 Hemi 220k miles and it only cost me 3k. Good trans. Just got new tires and headlights before I got it too! Hasn’t given me any problems so far and everyone I’ve showed said it was a good find. I’m feeling really good about it and looking forward to the future with it!

I've got a 2004 Toyota Tacoma prerunner with 210,000 mi on it and it's still going strong. I thought about getting a new truck but I went and looked but nobody makes a compact truck with a 6-ft bed anymore literally nobody I guess you could get a Ford Maverick but you got to wonder about their reliability and it only comes like a 4-ft bed so that ain't going to work probably the best new truck to get would be a Nissan Frontera as the new tacomas come with a four-cylinder turbo that you also have to wonder about the reliability of that.

The real question is which is more reliable

I had an 03 tacoma with 300k miles when I let it go. 3 yrs laters regret letting it go and ended getting an 99' 4runner. Those 90s toyota trucks are just awesome..But, def would wanna get an 2nd gen Tacoma with the 4.0L

This gen still has boxed frame.

I noticed it years ago and it bothers me every time I drive the truck. It’s not just off center, it’s angled toward the driver side so your left arm extends more than your right. Feels off when you’re aware.
