I saw somewhere that the auto/lunchbox lockers on the first gen will only engage when the hubs are locked. Do you know if that’s true? I did an ARB in the back, and am considering what to do in front. But don’t want to do the lunchbox if it’s engage any time it’s in 4wd. Thanks in advance!

Just a tip.. when loading a engine block on a stand pull mount out of the stand mount that first then lift the stand onto the mount so much easier..

Where did you get the parts, I need to do that to mine.

When I had mine, I put a big eye bolt w/a pulley in the ceiling joist in my garage and used some straps and a small winch so I could remove it by myself. Mine was a '69 with the lift up back window and 2 small doors on the bottom. You've probably figured out by now all the doors have hinge pins so you don't need to remove all those screws.

So the body needs serious attention but headlocks first????🙄

This video is so interesting. I had a Land cruiser prado in China. The price of a Land Cruiser is almost 200k us dollars in China, which is similar to the BMW x7. Maybe x7 can take you to any place in this world. However, a Land cruiser can take you home from any position.😜

As far as your shock hoop cover being ugly, I use the 3 F rule: fit form and function, as long as it does that I say it’s perfect 👍
