looking at replacing most AC components of my 2011 ford taurus on the same platform as my compressor finally failed, luckily from what my local shop could tell my lines are clean to expansion valve and evap so no need to dig the dash up for the evap which seems to be the main pain in the neck in terms of AC work! so hopefully quick swap of compressor, condenser, receiver/drier, and TXV/expansion valve (out of good practice) + flush and refill will do the trick. one of my blend door actuators is also clicking but again not willing to tear apart the dash to figure it out. otherwise running smooth 200k miles 🤙reading up + watching as much as i can to prepare to replace the water/coolant pump soon but still a bit intimidated as a drvieway mechanic lol

Good job. I would have visited as a colleague if you were in Port Harcourt. Let me add that I did not see the high pressure gauge connected. Also, the refrigerant was not measured and the oil spec and total volume should be rechecked. Some more safety practices would have been in order. Altogether, good job and well done to your team
