After dreaming of far away places my entire childhood, I was finally able to make my travel dreams come true when I studied abroad in Southeast Asia in college. Since then I have'nt been able to stop! Now I have visited over 30 countries, up and moved to the West coast, and always have my camera in hand to share my love of adventure travel to unique destinations both near and far. This is my channel for creating, storytelling, and inspiring you to embark on your own adventures!
This is the BEST TREK in PERU: Hiking to Humantay Lake & Salkantay Pass
Join me on my most epic travel experience to date: an overnight hike through the Andes Mountains to reach the stunning Salkantay Pass in Peru! This challenging trek offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges, including the majestic Salkantay peak, and bright turquoise waters of Humantay Lake. One of the unique highlights on this trip: I spend the night in a completely glass igloo for incredible views of the stars and moonlit snowy peaks! It's also a great shorter alternative to the longer, more popular, and more expensive Inca Trial trek. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime adventure!

WHAT I PACKED FOR 6 MONTHS OF TRAVEL
Просмотров 4732 года назад
What’s in my travel backpack?! I’m Kathryn, a digital nomad, adventure traveler, and photographer, currently backpacking through Central America, South America and Southeast Asia for the next 6 months! The biggest question I’ve been asked since I started traveling is how did I pack for 6 months of travel, all in one carry-on size backpack?! The short answer: it can be done! I brought a 46L carr...
What is the name of the Airbnb?
Thank you for sharing your tips on this hidden gem <3 I'm going on a retreat there soon, so it's good to know all these spots.
🎉
The dirtiest city in Mexico I've ever visited. I got sick first day of my visit and was miserable. Bad advice ...
why did you stop making videos ? 100k views . wow. keep going
Thanks for the video! I’m super excited to go and stay for awhile!
Things must happen the way they do for a reason. Your cideo was posted a year ago but I am just now discovering it. I felt so homesick seeing the Sawtooths highlighted. Have you added Sawtooth Mountains guide somewhere that I missed? Great content! Subscribed!
Where was day two?
Although Logan Pass IS the highest elevation on the Going to the Sun Road, it is FAR from the highest point in the park as you state in your narrative.
Pay with cash where possible to avoid the shop owners losing out 3% to the credit card companies. Makes a big difference in the long run.
Great video. Simple, straightforward, and short and sweet.
You can get great weed here.
Hi Hi, We're headed here and I'm taking notes! What beach is shot with drone @ 1:10? Do you have info on the 4hr surf excursion?! Thank you!
I Love Jonna Napire 💜💚❤ March 30, 2024
It’s annoying that you don’t even speak Spanish
You nop need internet and telephone you need to enjoying la vida dios bendiga a Mexico 🇲🇽and his president and gavinete
So this is the website was going for I thought the Tulum was giving these vibes no 😭
Do most restaurants in Sayulita that you mentioned and Mary's restaurant take credit card?
looks like a nice place. As for not bringing valuables to the beach. That goes for anywhere (including in the United States, even in upscale towns there are people who will steal). $40 a day for an electric golf cart, wow. That sounds like a great business to run. They are a lot cheaper to buy/maintain then a car, and they will last longer since you aren't going to be putting that many miles on an golf cart (vs a rental car).
What is the best hotel in Sayultia, Mexico? I am thinking about going in December.
Great Video 👍 May I ask for help? Might any of you have encountered a woman who walks around selling her homemade big cookie covered Cocada. She has a big wooden tray with 4 different types of coconut flavors she wraps around a big cookie. Very Delicious! Might you know her contact info, Her Name, contact number. What day she sells them around the beach and beach front restaurants? I so appreciate it.
Hi, Kathryn! Cool work! We'd like to collaborate, how can we get in touch? :)
I love Mexico ❤ ruclips.net/video/YO_J2f3pzCI/видео.html
sounds like expensive
65$US/ night is not what I call budget…
Cheap ass
Incredible videography!!!!! 😍 What an amazing excursion. Thanks for the video!
Viva Mexico 🇲🇽
I went here when I was a teenager in 2001. It was awesome. Seems like it is not awesome anymore because of people like this lady. And wow it looks like this place went to shit. And by shit I mean there are stupid restaurants, too many tourists and fcuking golf carts!!! The town is so small, just walk you lazy douchebags.
Visited Sayulita a few weeks ago. From what I had heard about the place, I was expecting much more than what it is today. The beach is indeed good, surfing is popular. However, the beach is overcrowded with chairs, tables etc.. The town itself is grubby, it is overrun with golf carts going every which way, and the beach on the north side smells of sewage and the sand littered with dog poop. It is most definitely NOT my idea of what an idyllic Mexican getaway is all about. It's past may have been a paradise cove. However, at the present time, Sayulita is drawing upon its past merits. Unless you are a surfer or a wannabe hippy, my advice is to steer clear of this place and find a much better place, of which there are many in Mexico.
It was a paradise when I went 20 years ago. Sounds like it has been ruined.
Where would you recommend then?
@samcampese2066 Where do you recommend to one who has never been to Mexico? We were planning to go here!
@@Soleille777 one place to consider is San Pedro, just north of Sayulita and reputably as great as Sayulita used to be during its heyday.
@@Soleille777 correction.....meant San Pancho (not San Pedro).
I think you’re fantastic 🌹
lovely scenery thanks for posting
Mexico, a country full of culture and traditions, I hope to return soon.
Some few tips when you got to Mexico either travel around, moving out whatever else (and nope, is not spam!!) ruclips.net/video/uV6CaCz9yK8/видео.html
Still haven’t been to Peru, this is definitely enough motivation to start planning ❤
We just returned from Sayuluta and we were equally impressed, can't wait to go back. On the tail of the Californian storms the surf was amazing for photography! One important omission here - for craft beer fans - YamBak bar right off the central plaza has some really good IPAs and other options, and it's flanked by a couple of really good taco stands, from which you're welcome to "eat in".
Great video👍✔
So superb editing! peace out. dude!🤘
This is really great content. How did you figure out what would sustain you for 6 months? You needed Malaria pills, and pepto bismal, and you want to travel there?
Dang you are quoting some High prices. ones to see if they can get the gringos to pay that much! 😅 OK Trying to see if they can get those crazy high prices from "stupid gringos" 😅 😉
Thanks for sharing this landscape. Nice panning with the camera! Excited for the next one ☝️
absolutely gorgeous!
fun video. san pancho, where I live to the north, is as you said... a quieter option.
Thank you so much for the great video!
Nice video! Sayulita is beautiful! Gastronomy in Mexico is amazing, Mexico is the best option in Latin America for vacations.
More Mexico and Central American city guides pls
Mexico is the best,
Colonizers
This is great, PS: I laughed when you said "for groceries there are no big supermarket chains here", Thank god there are none, as that is why I would go to a place like Sayulita: Shop local , small and fresh.
Awesome video! Thanks for the travel tips 🤙🏽
Lol cause she went to the whitest cafe in the place…..
The internet has ruined all the secret spots in Mexico. As soon as you say “thriving restaurant scene’ I know it is overrun with gringos…’
and you are not a gringo?
I live in sayulita and it is actually full of Mexican visitors coming from close city’s like Guadalajara
What does that have to do with anything? Sayulita has been ruined by American tourism, that’s a fact.
😅 The prices she was quoting for most Everything were definitely to see if they can get gringos to pay that much! 😅
Yes the ones that complain about gringos ruining an area contributed themselves to what they are complaining about. You will hear them say the same to Nationals who will chuckle, but not for the reason the “gringo” believes
