The Howling is no doubt one of the best werewolf movies of the 80s if not ever. And despite some humor here and there it's pretty scary and disturbing in parts. Besides being terrified by Silver Bullet and The Company of Wolves this too was nightmarish to my young mind. Werewolves were big scary bastards to me as a kid in the 1980s. 🐺😱But of course like most monsters I've grown to love them all. Great review, mate. Your thoughts on werewolves in any movie are always welcomed. 🙂By the way I was in our Wal-Mart the other day and what did I find on dvd for around 15 bucks. The Frank Grillo Werewolves movie so I snatched it up. It's a cornball plot of a movie but some good popcorn fun. 👍😉Hope you get around to seeing one day and share your thoughts on it.🤔

Hey Kilty! Silver Bullet, I dared to rent this movie when I was young maybe 10 or so. And I watched it by myself with the lights on during the day time and it still scared me silly. 😱I was freaked out from some of the scenes in this movie so much so that when the movie ended I didn't know what to do to get my mind off of it. I finally went outside into the bright sunlight but I live in the country and along the edges of the yard of course is thick dark woods. You guessed it my mind starting running wild, I started to think maybe there were damn werewolves in there watching me so back in the house I goes. 😄 Anyways it's a great story, when I got older I read the book and enjoyed it. But the movie is something special despite it's few flaws here and there and I got to say mate, you did a hell of a job with this review. You really explained and expressed the same feelings I got from watching it back in the day. The way the kid was terrified trying to out run the werewolf on his fancy wheelchair, that level of fear is how I felt watching most of the scary scenes. The relationship between the characters, especially between the boy and his uncle. The way the uncle stood up for the boy and treated him normal despite his physical problem. The way people reacted when they discovered the victims. Loads of stuff like that. Ah yes, The Beast Must Die!🐺 I discovered this movie a couple years back and took a liken to it. It's a fun little 70s film and I love the funky soundtrack. 🕺So cool.👍😎Great hearing your thoughts on it.

Anytime we heard a car going down the road we just knew it was Christine out there looking for new victims. 🚗But I also fell in love with her 😍and the movie. My dad listens to a lot of music from the 50s so I already had that going too. And Carpenter's score of course is mind blowing. I'm going get the soundtrack off ebay soon. I also missed Killdozer so that's next on my list to check out. But now I finally got The Car and was able to enjoy the commentary with you. Neca are hit and miss in my opinion, I've loads of problems with their Alien figures but I didn't have any issues swapping out the heads with this Kessler Wolf awesome rant though Kilt Man.

One of my favourite films, always has been since I saw it on VHS in the early 80s. Saw it at pictures last year when it came back, wonderful experience.
