@@WellerTruckParts Thank you sir. Are all gears activated in these transmissions in case of emergency? I'm asking because it interests me because since solenoid valves work with electricity, I wondered whether they work hydraulically in case of a power outage.
@@Hydraulic_System_22 Hi Again, In an electrical failure the trans goes to limp home mode. It will lock the trans in a safe range and not shift until power is restored or code is cleared.

Rebuilt the valve body the other day. Boss threw all the solenoids ((found out theres 2 PNs) 3 if you include the lower binary one.) harness, aluminum body, valves, springs, and pressure switches, filters, at me. Figured it out but we rarely do rebuilds. Do you guys have a video on the complete rebuild after the pan is dropped? I nailed it but it was 8+ hrs of work that i feel should have taken 4 after doing it the first time. (Had to drain, drop, reinstall, and fill.)

How do you tell if you shattered the gear ?
Good morning, Curtis! Thank you for reaching out! An easy way to check to see if you have a shattered gear is to take an oil sample and check for metal shavings.
Hello, greetings, I have an Allison box and it is returning oil through the supply tube.
Good morning Jose! Something that could be causing that is fluid blowing out the dipstick tube which could be a clogged breather on the back of the trans main case. Check to make sure the breather is unobstructed. You can also drill a 1/8th" hole in the dipstick tube just below the seal to allow air pressure to escape the main case. Thank you for reaching out!

Other than the springs for the retainer plates…Are there any bearings or springs that can fallout when i remove the upper casting from the lower casting? Im about to do this. We are getting p0843 code and p2727. Its making me think theres a restriction at the PS1
Hello there @takeoverjupiter! To answer your question, there will be 4 accumulator cups and springs located under the solenoid retaining brackets. Other than that, there are no loose parts. Now for the P0843, make sure to remove the solenoids and check the trim valve springs. They should be updated to yellow springs. P0843 is a common code that occurs when the trim springs break. Updated yellow springs will be included in the control module seal and gasket kit. Inspect the trim valves carefully if the springs are broke. There may be damage to the valves. Valves are not included in the gasket kit and would need to be ordered separately. Thank you for watching our content!

@@WellerTruckPartsso our springs weren’t broken but I’ve updated them to the yellow ones. had 3 pink & 1 white in it before change. About to put it all back together. So far I’m starting to think maybe it’s an issue with the wiring harness or the TCM. We aren’t able to shift with the electronic shifter at all.
Hello again @Takeoverjupiter It is recommended that the pressure switch be changed. The part number is 29552364. Before bolting everything together, plug the switch into the harness. Measure resistance between pins 19 and 3 at the trans 20 way plug. You should have full continuity. Measure while you depress the button on the switch itself. When the switch is pressurized, it opens so the meter should read out of limit or OL. When switch is released, it should go back to full continuity. Thanks again for reaching out!
If you’re taking it straight off the vehicle make sure you disconnect the main TCM connector from the module before disconnecting module from transmission

Buenos Dias! Si el trans permanece en N, necesitaríamos conectar una herramienta de escaneo a él y ver si se muestra una inhibición de desplazamiento. Una inhibición de cambio evitaría que el trans entrara en marcha. Si no se muestra ninguna inhibición de desplazamiento, compruebe si hay códigos activos. Si no hay códigos activos, verifique el nivel de líquido con el motor apagado, luego encienda el motor y asegúrese de que el nivel de líquido baje aproximadamente 1.5 pulgadas.

What is the removal tool you used to take the pins out?

Hello, what can I do if I lower my valve body with the lever in park?
Hey Carlos! If you lower the valve body in park it is just harder to line up the manual selector valve pin. Lowering in neutral is just a suggestion to make it easier to reinstall valve body.

I have a allison 2000 series in a vt365 international, when I slide the converter in it feels like it is in all the way but the converter still feels wobbly. Is the normal for these transmissions?

Hola amigo, La serie 2200 es un conjunto de engranajes de relación cerrada y la serie 2000 es una relación amplia, por lo que probablemente no funcionaría. Para estar seguro, necesitarías darnos el número de la serie de ambas etiquetas de identificación metálicas y asi podemos verificar si son compatibles.
