What fascinates me about Silent Hill is the hierarchy of the "Gods", you have "GOD" - depicted as a Mother, then you have the Red God often depicted as Pyramid Head, the Yellow God depicted as Valtiel (the right hand of god so to speak). Even more fascinating is just what Silent Hill IS and how its powers manifest depending on those who "need" it. What I mean by that is "God" chooses to provide paradise or punishment. Depending on the needs of the souls it's drawn to. Case in point Silent Hill 2, we consistently are shown Pyramid Head pushing James forward through his adventure. He has plenty of opportunities to kill him, but does not. He's the executioner (punisher) but he also guides James. This plays into religious belief that depending on your moment of death you either can't let go and see demons ripping you apart or accept your fate and realize its angels freeing you from your mortal coil. We see Silent Hill at least in MY opinion very closely match its source inspiration material from the movie "Jacob's Ladder". God, provides salvation or punishment, whichever your soul needs more. James goes through punishment (killing his wife) first, then finds salvation (forgiveness from Marie in the final letter). Silent Hill's greatest power is manifestation, the Order is there to keep that balance, Claudia wanted to bring God back to the world which according to them would be the END of everything or in their minds "the end of suffering". The apocalypse. The deeper I dive into the lore I believe "God" is trapped and is used for the Orders wants and desires at its core. Claudia and others have tried to birth God into the world numerous times and keeps failing. I don't think God is evil at all, if you look into it God is portrayed as a strict being, demanding unwavering faith and devotion from Her servants, as well as various forms of sacrifices. In exchange, She seems to grant her followers rather bizarre powers, an example of which is Claudia Wolf and her ability to conjure shifts between worlds but Claudia oversteps the Order in a bid for ultimate power and the end. Which, is understandable, you would want the end too if it meant you getting out of that place. It explains why children there are always extremely happy and melancholy because it reflects and manifests us at our core. Children are innocent, this plays into the whole menstruation thing, like a sign of innocence lost. Once you hit that point you're no longer innocent by default you are now defined by your actions karma wise.

Love the video and seeing the horror side of pregnancies is very rare so its a lot more in your face sh (i never had the chance to play it)

Heather is such a great protagonist and Heather Morris' peformace is genuinely terrific. She can do that trademark Heather sass whilst also selling those more intense moments. Like that scene when she sees Harry's body is just so damn effective. Another great video per usual, always worth the wait. 1:23 also i don't know why this made me laugh so hard lol 21:54 Silent Hill fans when they see an electronic device made to transmit radio waves (this is clearly a Team Silent easter egg)

THANK YOU FOR BEING THE FIRST CREATOR IVE HEARD MENTION THE VOICE ACTING!!! I think it is to this day the main reason I recommend people play the original. The remake James just doesn’t feel right. Mostly because Guy Cihi and the rest of the cast was originally hired to emphasize the numb, mysterious and off kilter nature of silent hill’s travelers

I can say, as a woman, that being a woman is scary. We are cuddly kittens one moment, but we can turn into Godzilla once a month. Also, the music in the end is awesome

If you look up the game "Little Misfortune" which is made by the same studio. We learn that those realities are in fact real. Because there is a lot of references between both games. And its stated by the developers that they are from a shared universe. Which they plan to expand with more games including a Fran Bow 2.
