      I have X1 Carbon Gen 8 4K and its glossy. I don't get more than 3-4hrs and I don't think they very much usable than their IPS counterpart. I personally think 1440p is a good balance between screen real estate and battery timing, and anything over 14" should have a 1440p as standard in 2022. @@justbekos28 yes you can get really great sound for years and years with just 1000 dollars or even a bit less, btw for the bookshelves like rp600m consider adding a subwoofer like klisch r100sw. With rp8000f tower speakers you can be fine without.

      Q950T sounds really good, just picked one up and love it - got a Sony X900H 75 but it's going back to Costco for a CX77, too many audio issues with the Sony and obviously the CX is a far superior TV.

    you spend thousands of dollars on a lovely TV and then you cheap out with some cheap fairy lights Get yourself some decent smart lights I promise you won't regret it! OLED display looks great especially at night with its cinematic display (black bars) but what about when they isn't a cinematic display being displayed, thats the time when the on/off option of smart lights will be most useful! All with a flick of a finger or a voice command! One really really wouldn't want not to have the option to turn off one's lighting especially when it is a cinematic display being displayed! After all thats what one is paying for, for the cinematic display! I used to have them on my old OLED TV click on the red dragon to have a look ???

      Yes, I do have the remote to turn it off. Definitely at night the cinematic experience in movies the lightstrip creates a light bleeding effect, which I don't like as well.

    Any concerns about the 3M glue on the back of the glass panel? And is it dynamic to the content at all?

    • @justbekos28
      @justbekos28 3 года назад

      The 3M tape is not at all an issue, I did not put the strip on the tv before i mounted it so remember to stick it on before doing this. The tape does not get hot but I can see overtime it can peel off due to tv getting warmer. The dynamic content functionality is not present, you would need a sync box or some sort to recognize the content on the tv.
