Neither handle when removed has a grub screw. I cannot see a screw inside the whole. Any ides what is keeping it on?

What I'd like to know is what makes the cartridges go faulty ?

Hi there, I have a valve almost identical to this and I have an issue where a lot of the time, when I attempt to turn the shower off by turning the valve off, the whole assembly spins (the large on/off arm AND the smaller inner temperature adjustment) there have been times where I’ve been in the shower for 10-15 minutes trying to manoeuvre it from clockwise to counter clockwise so it eventually shuts the water off. Do I need a mew internal valve? Or is it possible to “secure” the one I already have internally so it doesn’t spin when I shut the water off? Many thanks in advance for your help!

The cartridge is stuck. I’m not able to pull it out. Any advice on what I can do to loosen it? Thank you in advance
