Do you know how IFE controls work when sitting in bulkhead seats? I've read that the seats are so thin, you feel everything put into the seat pocket from the person behind you, is this true?

I enjoyed my flight in business class, from San Francisco to Bangkok Thailand, with a layover in Hong Kong, I spent most of my time at the sky Garden where you’re able to smoke, It’s the only place in this airport where you’re allowed to, by mistake I went to the Small lounge, the larger lounge, heading to the gate, I love the hamburger and fries for the midflight snack, I would fly on Cathay Pacific again.

Just booked a 777 business class flight from London Heathrow to Hong Kong for late June 2024. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will have the new updated 'Aria' business suites!

4:01 that shows CX921/907/913/903 final destinations MNL & CEB. Because your A350-941 is also used on Hong Kong to the Philippines market if you scroll on the map. Excellent Trip report overall and you can compare the CX A359 to what the CX Filipina crews use to go back to MNL a Philippine Airlines A359.

Flying in 2 weeks to Hong Kong with transfer, is 2:20 hour enough? Flying with Cathay Pacific in the Airbus A350-1000

Great trip video thanks!🙏 And wow, that footage of your approach into HK is absolutely stunning! The perfect day and the perfect time of day to arrive for sure from an Arial photographer perspective! It's so clear you can see right across the border to the mainland in some shots I think. These super hot sunny days you get in July are pretty tough to be outside in but they are the best for photography. I've been flying my drone in these last few weeks and it's so crystal clear I've managed to also get some lovely footage. I swear on the days HK is this clear its the most beautiful city in the world - nowhere else has this combination of dense urban and raw jungle country parks.

After landing in HKG your B777-367/ER will do HKG-MNL🇵🇭 or HKG-CEB🇵🇭 routes rather than waste time ready for the next long haul flight. On HKG-MNL B777-367/ER CX🇭🇰 > PR B777-3F6/ER🇵🇭 due to CX being a Skytrax 5 star airline as opposed to rival PR 4 star Skytrax rating which has been going since 1946 when the displayed DC-3 seen at the training centre flew Hong Kong to Sydney Kingsford Smith via Manila. Customer of Cathay Pacific for 21 years since my first MNL-HKG flight.

Across the Philippine West Sea, the Filipino name for South China Sea CX Business Class seat beats a newer PR Mabuhay Class Seats from the A350-900. Did JFK-HKG-MNL on the older angled flat bead seat in December 2005-January 2006

Nice! Flying LA to Hong Kong in January premium economy. If the person in front of you reclines all the way is there still enough room for you or not so much?

I think I prefer the amenity bag of premium economy, vs business class.
