let it sink in that roshi was always more powerfull than super sayian goku, throught dbz, movies and super roshi has always been able to suddnly amas power on par with his students, he dropped one of the best fighters of that universe, shamed him with his ultra instinct esk moves(gokus actualy learnt ultra instinct basics when he was 12 the same training roshi did), roshi has always been a univers tier fighter and its not ret conned its showne in the series throught
