Weight loss in menopause and keeping your money in your wallet!
Here I am telling you things you may already know.
Don't fall for ANY company claiming that their product will help you lose weight. Case and point being Happy Mammoth.
You won't want to read this but your weight loss starts in the kitchen, and being kind to yourself. That is is ONE big thing you can do to help you. Plan your food out, and don't fall for anyone selling snake oil. Literally. Unless you get it professionally tested, don't fall for any BS you see or read about losing weight effortlessly.
It all starts with putting your body in the best place possibly to lose weight and feel healthy. Giving yourself loose bowels is not how you do it.
Please message me if I can help any more.

It sounds like you're over exercising. That can increase your cortisol level and bring your hormones out of balance. Another thing, I'm taking the hormone harmony and it has helped me relax and reduce stress and slow myself down. My apettite also decreased. I don't know if I've lost weight because of it, but I certainly didn't put any weight on. So it's definitely doing something for me! I'm 41 at the moment so I don't know if that helps. I'm happy to try this, as sellsy as it might be, than HRT, hands down. At least it's a lot less likely to be messing up with my hormones even more.

Not sure if it's as bad over the pond as it is here in the USA, but we are flooded with foods containing seed oils (soy lecithin, Sunflower, safflower, peanut, canola, vegetable). They're making us fat, weak and sluggish. I would also recommend checking out the Glucose Goddess. Cheers!

My moods improved. I felt more relaxed. I was also less bloated, however absolutely no weight loss. I’m looking into trying other natural supplements that cost less. I can’t imagine spending more money if it doesn’t work.

So much of what you have said resonated with me too!!! Like you say the more we know the better we can tackle issues I've already been researching muscle loss and why after a heavy physical work shift I am constantly hungry and snacking makes no difference and you are right it's lack of protein. Like you my weight difference is 2 stone heavier than I was at 30s 40s 😞 but I am shocked how much protein I should be eating for my weight and age !!!! So I am looking at ways to improve that and exercise for strength at 60's so any advice on that would be great. The itchy ears!! Inside the canal. Stupid peri menopause. So this may not be the right forum for this comment but a strict keto diet, more carnivore than anything, and eliminating all sugar was the only thing that helped me. I don’t know if I need to stay this strict forever but for now it’s the best therapeutic diet. I WILL take HRT if I need to. Your information is great! Tip: I use ACV/or ww vinegar with a crudite (carrots/cucumber) right before I eat my savory protein rich breakfast. It helps slow down the glucose and keeps me pretty steady throughout the day. Because of this, I am able to eat 2 healthy meals most days. No snacking and no added sugar is really helping me feel my best. Like you said planning is key. Great tips and suggestions....here's my tip for ACV, I use a shot glass with about a tablespoon of ACV mixed with an elixir of Turmeric, ginger and lemon juice (Pulp & Press brand) and take the shot w/o any touching my teeth. after that, I add mushroom powder ( Reishi and Chaga) and Maca root powder to my tea every morning. I don't get any night sweats or other meno symptoms and I know it has to do with the mushroom and Maca powders because I've run out twice while waiting for a sale to restock and I would feel very off and get the sweats. I hate taking pills so I opt for liquid multivitamins. I have been looking to try a good marine collagen but haven't made a purchase yet. I also do some lymphatic massage when I get out the shower...not always but recently started to do it again.

Saw this too late. I just received my 3 month supply. I’m a first time user. I’m now post menopausal but still get the odd week or so of night sweats, weird skin on my face (dry rough spots), insomnia for weeks on end and an over active bladder (especially at night)…..not to mention I’m 7 stone (about 100 pounds) over the weight I was when I was perimenopausal and this whole ridiculous process started (about 9 years ago). I’ll follow up in 30 days and let you know how it’s going. Wish me luck!! BTW - the weight gain happened during the first 3 years and it came on like a freight train!! I went up 2.5 dress sizes in the first year alone with absolutely NO change to my diet at all (no increased quantity). Most of it landed in my belly (making me look 8 months pregnant) and it’s impossible to get off, even with increased activity coupled with 2 day fasts per week for a month…..which ended up with me not losing one single solitary pound; hence the reason I’m now trying Hormone Harmony so late in the game because I’m getting desperate for even the smallest amount of weight loss!!

Hi Elizabeth, oh dear I went down the rabbit hole. Brought this for perimenopause received it three days ago. Day one I felt heaps of energy, sleep was not great. Day two felt extremely irritable and low mood and today I have headache. I already know in my gut this is not for me but you get so wrapped up in it and desperate for a cure to feel normal again. I am 51 and had hysterectomy (still have ovaries) nearly 10yrs ago. Peri has hit me hard in the last 5 years, migraines, sleep, brain fog, memory word recall, joints, weight gain anxiety. I started on HRT in November and the first thing I noticed was my migraines went with the odd break through. My sleep was a little better, I did feel a little chiller, things didn't faze me as much, however I have gained weight. I can't say if it is HRT related as I was doing this CrossFit style exercise and oh my lord my body just did not handle it. I was deluded to think at 51 I could hit the floor with a burpee and get back up again so I think my body went in to fight or flight mode after I stopped doing this exercise. All old injuries came to the forefront and have remained since. I am a Barber so stand all day and my posture is often in bent positions. Basically my body is breaking down. I live in New Zealand by the way. So today I woke up went on you tube to see if I could be convinced anymore by the client reviews that Happy Hormones was going to work and should I push on, then straight away you review came up and so I watched and I think yes it is another disappointment the HH. So I have put my HRT patch back on as I think it probably does help somewhat. I do have a history of anxiety/depression and I am thinking hormone related at the time hence my hysterectomy. Recently I said to my husband lets go and do some travel particularly back to Scotland we both have connections there for 6 months get out of it for a bit to reset as we have been through a lot of trauma as well over the last 5 years, cancer with hubby, toxic friendships, family drama and I had all this courage and now I get anxiety just thinking about packing a suitcase even though I so dearly want to. I have watched your videos and I like the way you explain things. I am not after any answers just want to let you know and maybe others that read this post may resonate with them and perhaps share their thoughts and feelings. BTW my GP said to me on my last visit I am still a while away from Menopause!! What the heck does that mean. I am telling you my symptoms are real but I guess they look at markers through blood tests etc. Anyway, sorry for the blurb but yeah Happy Mammoth I think is just another get your hopes up product. !!

@@elizabethbandeen7869 maybe doing a discussion on gratitude would be one idea... Also, being that you're a masseuse, a discussion about self-care and the importance of prioritizing your health.

It's infuriating that companies take advantage of people by misleading them.... If they are guaranteeing results, you should ask for a full refund. You should also write them a "nice" review 😤

I went into their website and looked at the terms and conditions of their 60 day money back guarantee. It's pretty water tight protecting the company. Utter bollocks. X

Thank you for this. I was tempted by some of their products, but held off. I’m glad I did now.

Hi! So glad to see you again! You are a great story teller ❤ I'm 51 now, for me, I'm not feeling invisible, but I have felt lonely at times. I actually discovered a group of women called the Golden Girls of the East Valley (I live in the US). This has been a wonderful group of ladies 50 and up. I have felt immediate connections. One day I knit with one, the next I have coffee with another one, the next day I do a puzzle with another lady.... To say the least, this has been a life saver for me. I appreciate women supporting women.

I am at the same point you were. Every 4 weeks I have a silver white "landing strip" down my part line. I hate spending the money and the time it takes at least 2-2 1/2 hours. I had to plan vacations and outtings around getting my hair colored. 5 weeks in!❤

Thanks for messaging! Just go for it! Honestly it's such a weight off my shoulders and my hair appointments only take an hour now. You'll get a shock if you get the colour stripped out, but hang on in there! x
