@@SpiRaL-CSGO idk what motherboard do you have, watch a video on youtube about your motherboard bios. with equal timings 4000mhs on 5000 series processors will give a small increase in performance.

@@legion_lxix thank you I have done this. And ram at 4000mhz. Also oc my 1060 with +70 on core and +500 on mem work fine. 300fps avg and 154 1% low on cs2 bench. Super smooth with a 144hz monitor. Thank you bro

launch option "-allow_third_party_software" 1650 slower 1060 in CS2. What is the frequency of the RAM? What is the frequency CPU?

before buying 5600x I had an i7 3770 and it did not load gtx 1060 and no manipulations with the settings helped to raise the fps. I think 6600k have small l3 cache and slow cores for CS2.

The problem is the CPU. 6600K supported DDR4 ram so my guess is doing a Motherboard and CPU upgrade will make a lot of difference for Esports titles. Try to fish for a B450 Motherboard and Ryzen 5 5600 in the used market. Should be a sweet upgrade.

@@legion_lxix I got same problem. My r5 5600 OC, is always on high % usage about 50-100% in-game. My specs: RX 6500XT, 16GB RAM 3200Mhz

Bottleneck CPU, R5 3600 have slow cores and and interacts slowly with RAM. Upgrading to 5700x3d If your motherboard power supply system allows it or upgrade to 5600 if you have a budget motherboard without radiators on power supply circuits.

I played csgo with avg 40-50 fps on my laptop (ryzen 5 2500u, integrated gpu) and somehow managed to reach MG 2 solo queue, even without headset (and of course had some fun). Unless you're really competitive (like global elite/ faceit lv7++), 100+ fps is more than enough.

My recommendation: max overclocking your processor if it allows motherboard. You GPU enough for more 200fps stability, but your CPU is bottlenecking.

This game garbage. Fps drops into 90 with this cpu.

This is Ancient, and the hardest map for gpu now is both Inferno and Overpass btw

Ancient is pretty easy on CT side, it's a classic layout with quick rotates that allow choking entries easily. Anubis is harder to defend though

CS2 does not need more core, perfomence per core 5700G identical 5600, but 5700G have less l3 cache (16MB).

I think problem 16MB L3 cache in your processor. Ryzen 5600 (NOT G version) have 32MB.

Example: My friend have Ryzen 7 5700 (G version) + rtx 3060 and he has fewer fps than mine in valorant.

Nah this guy definitely replaced his 1060 with like an rtx 4070 ti super, its not possible for a 1060 to do that well

@@qenrl8474 gpu doesnt matter much past a 1060/1070 in valorant, even a 4090 will make a 10% more fps difference.
