‘‘Backroads, the right wrong turn’’ is a short film project lead by Sander van Eck & José González. It takes place in the North-West of Ireland, searching the backroads of the country for perfect and big waves whilst battling the harsh elements.
It is about a group of friends who came together through their passion for surfing and nature. Drawn by Ireland & Northern Ireland, for its natural beauty, the rawness of the ocean and the kindness of its people.
They're not from here, but all ended up here for the same reasons and have been embraced by the community through this shared passion
