I know that setting the arbitrary line after the Bears win reinforces your entire video but considering that you say winning 15 games is a curse when 2-6 teams who did it won is kind of silly. More accurate cutting off points would be either before the salary cap or after playoff expansions. Before the salary cap of the 10 times at least one team won 14 or more games, one of those teams won 7-10 times (Dolphins, Steelers, 49ers(15), Bears (15), Giants, 49ers, and Washington). After the salary cap, when it has occurred in a season those teams have only won 5-16 times (Patriots 3 times, Broncos, and Chiefs). It makes even more sense when you consider that in EVERY one of those losses, there was only one team that had at least 14 wins. There were 8 years where the top team won 14 and lost, 2 where the top team won 15 and lost, and one where the top team won 16 and lost. The Patriots are the only 14+ win team to be in sole possession of the best record in the salary cap era to win, and they did it twice. Then you add the playoff expansion in 1990 to 12 teams and in 2020 to 14 teams, and the low odds that the one team in sole possession of the best record doesn't win the Super Bowl makes even more sense.

The 1991 Redskins (SB Champions), 2004 Eagles, 2009 Colts, and 2020 Chiefs could have won 15 games if they didn’t rest their starters. The 09 Colts would be the 2nd 16-0 team to lose the Super Bowl in 3 years. The 2004 Eagles would not have been the only 15-1 team that year, and they lost to the 15-1 Steelers. Luckily they were in the AFC.

The Pats were done from the first snap , when Michael Strahan realized that the refs weren't calling offsides. When Brady was in his own end zone and was called for internationally throwing out of bounds thus a safety. The replays were ridiculous with Strahan in-between the tackle and guard, who were barely out of their 3 point stance. Ridiculous. I had to watch something else. Those Giants were a bizarre team, the first Manning with 2 super bowl wins against the same team!?! Then the first Manning to be released 2 and out? Strange. Peyton had to play another 10 years and with a broken neck to get 2 SBs. Eli was already gone from football. Weird.

For the the Packers, the biggest reason for that playoff loss was the offensive coordinator wife passed away. Can't call plays if someone you love dies.

I’m a NBA/general basketball person but in terms of the pros let me tell you that regular season don’t mean shit once playoffs starts. It’s 0-0 again and we trying to get to 16 wins. Perfect example in NFL is 2011 Giants; 9-7 don’t matter as they went 4-0…they went 4-0.

Some of those teams probably weren’t as good as you would think. Get lucky enough to play teams with key injuries, never have to play a game in a way that’s a disadvantage. Cam got a lot of credit for that run, Luke was the real MVP of that team. Make Cam pass and he’s is trash, that’s why he’s out on the street.

I think the chiefs go 15-2 this season. I had them only losing to buffalo and Cleveland back in may. I think the ravens beat them in the divisional round though. Kansas City looks like team that could go 15-2 and sputter with how sloppy their offense has been to start the season.
