But I had to make this comment, as the Seto part always gets to me, no matter how many times I see it... but what got my tears really hitting me hard, as you were speaking of losing your childhood friend... your dear pupper... I suddenly felt the heartache of the loss of my dearest sweet furbaby. My precious cat was lost to feline covid last year. Yes, it's a thing. She grew worse each day... and passed while I was at work, in my roommates' arms. That was one of the most shattering moments of my life. The thing that hit me even harder... like the pet you said was laying at your feet... her name was Luna. I think I just cried myself into a state of dehydration...

From my pov why the teleport remote appeared in front of you and brought back is that this place where you fought Zenos was as Meteion stated “dictated by emotions” So Zenos “wished for you a long lasting life” but couldn’t finish his sentenced Since you didn’t find fulfillment….yet

FFXIV from ARR to Endwalker really is peak mmo storytelling, It's gonna be hard for SQEX to top it. Also I really enjoyed your reactions to all the moments in the game, especially letting Zenos hear what he wanted to hear (That I Cannot Deny).

Just finished Dawntrail yesterday. Other than most I really enjoyed both parts of the story. Spoilers: Especially the last zone got me and held me in constant tears throughout since I am very prone to the concept of loss and the worth of memories. Also I couldn't find anything about this online and I was wondering if I had imagined it but as the cutscene for the final boss rolled I saw cracks in Azems crystal and my character looked kind of worrisome to use it again

Fun fact about the Echo: you've been using it pretty much every time you fight. The AOE marks on the ground before an enemy attack ? That's the Echo warning you to avoid this area in the near future.

Had a random thought that the robots might have a blue or purple colour (like ew relic weapons), then purple is them being controlled by someone evil?

We also know from an earlier LL or Fanfest that the story is split into 2 parts, connected but separate. I genuinely think by 85/86, the competition for the throne will be over, both Wuklamat and the catboi will he dawn servant, each taking the title of one of the heads. But the S9 stuff will be the 2nd half of the MSQ after the new leader is crowned.

i cannot believe what this story did with elidibus. from a generic, kinda bland villain that i didnt think much of, to the character i cried the hardest for when we said goodbye, in just the span of a few patches. shadowbringers is an absolute masterclass in characterisation and storytelling. every character i had problems with was greatly improved here

Definitely think its a red herring, can't shake the feeling that city of gold is an in world mistranslation as quite often happens irl, because its said the language used is a mixture of several languages from the new world.. maybe a place of great value meaning a store of knowledge /technology/power and its been twisted by trabslation /time. They made a point to say how the language was a mix in the msq and thats stuff they normally leave for the encyclopedia unless its important

Funny thing, if you go to the main reflection, in EW you go throygh the various scenarios, ending with the warring tribes, maybe those militaristic people came to eorzea and built there their cities or bastions, waiting for the the red or blue team to show up and battle them. anyways this is speculations though.

Pretty much 95% confident at this point that Solution 9 is another shard attempting a forced merger with the Source. Up to now, the Ascians have forced floods of aether to consume the shard and then spill over into the Source. But without their interference, the shards remained separate due to Hydaelyn and her being aspected towards stasis. I'm thinking with Hydaelyn gone, the remaining shards are going to naturally try and merge into one and because the shards aren't being reduced to pure aether first, we're going to see physical manifestations cropping up all over the Source, with Solution 9 being the first one. Or it could just be a Wakanda....most tech advanced society on the planet hiding in plain sight.
