Just noticed "Castlevania" looks like the latest franchise logo (DS games and onward). This game is truly faster than time itself.

This game was awesome but Mario world took it to another extreme level

No joke, this is my favourite tune from Castlevania III. The ENTIRE soundtrack is fantastic, of course. But this one? Oh, this one… It has a feeling of a full story being told. It starts with a feeling of “this is how the story begins”. Then it goes into the backstory, subsequent banishment of the Belmonts and the fear and darkness creeping in. But in the darkest hour, when nearly all hope was lost, a Belmont stepped up and fought back to drive away the horrors of the night. It renewed hope in everyone. This 8-bit tune demonstrates it all in a single song. The rest of the songs are great gameplay tunes. The prologue theme… is a masterpiece that doesn’t need to be thought of as a game tune to enjoy on it’s own.

Yeah, well, this is so not the 91 SFII soundtrack but the 1994 SUPER SF2 version.

I really really like the ambience added here, I always imagined the single note to be the NES doing horror strings or something but here it's like the squealing is the mothership itself hovering in the air as the wind dramatically rushes by. Coupled with where the location of the fight itself and it feels sufficiently cold

If Mario 3 gets remastered for the Switch

I think this is one of the few tracks in the game that sound so iconic, that certain parts of the song (1:03) sound so familiar like it's trying to reference a previous theme of Bowser's. But in reality, there is nothing to reference but itself. This is easily one of my favorite final boss themes, and one of my favorite Bowser thems, in the series for that reason. Wonderful job!
