I've got a 2012 Santa Fe and I've been watching some videos specifically about converting this make/model into a camper. You've given me a lot of ideas, but I have one question: That bed is so high. Don't you have trouble climbing up onto it?

I have a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport that I'm about to live in, literally, as of later today when the eviction popo knock on my door. It's so reassuring to see your vehicle, pretty much identical to mine and know that so much can be done to improve the space requirements for living. What's really hard is that I have a nearly full time job and have to have multiple uniforms handy, meaning that my everyday clothing will be severely limited. I've decided on shorts, tank tops and lightweight kimono dusters to survive the Texas heat and humidity. I love what you've done in offering us new nomads fresh hope and ideas to explore.

Agree you have done a very good job. I like the idea you do not want to damage any of the original vehicle. I also like idea about storage under the bed. Only issue with this is for claustrophobics like me bed is too close to ceiling.

Only good idea for people live in North America or Canada....between mattress and ceiling of your car too close...not good for summer time it’s will be very hot

Very well done, I like the kitchen setup, the bed, and the storage area underneath the bed. I too have a SUV and like day trips and a few 2-3 overnights thrown in the mix.
