What do you mean by the inappropriate girl having a super form ? That wasn’t even a thing it’s just the Americans made some crappy fanfiction before understanding anything in the games.

I get that. I won't deny the Student Six had good moments. Their characters have amazing potential, but they really needed more work. Silverstream and Ocellus had the most potential IMO. I would have liked for them to have more character focused episodes. I get that Cozy Glow being a child villain isn't anything new. Aside from Baby Doll (well technically an adult in a kid's body, but somewhat close), I remember characters like Princess from Powerpuff Girls, and Cozy Glow's other inspiration, Darla Dimple. (I admit, I felt bad for those girls too at times). I would not have minded her being a villain if it was done well. A misguided filly is an interesting idea, but she just came across as so one-dimensional. She really needed some type of backstory or something. I don't hate Seasons 8 or 9, they had some good moments, but some plots felt so forced in or rushed that it just let me down. MLP really needed at least one more Season. (I'm aware that the comics had a Season 10, but it needed more than that).

Do not worry. I am fully aware of who Ken Penders is. I know that he worked with Archie back in the day, creating characters like Elias Acorn and Geoffrey St. John. I know that his biggest contribution being the Echidnas, especially Julie-Su. I also know about his lawsuit that caused the Archie Reboot in the first place, how he complained about Dark Brotherhood copying his idea from Archie, and I know about him being mad because Knuckles had a father in the movies. So I'm kind of aware of his history, and you're correct, it's very messy, and a big shame because it's a big reason why Archie went down. The comics weren't perfect but I hate knowing that so many stories never really got a proper conclusion because of what he did. But just to be clear, I didn't necessarily want a sequel to Sonic Chronicles. The RPG idea was meant to be something new that would introduce the Freedom Fighters, and any Archie characters that Ken Penders does not own (Such as the aforementioned Fiona Fox, Mina Mongoose, Monkey Khan and the reboot characters). Atlus can handle an RPG like I believe. They can use an engine similar to the Persona/Shin Megami Tensei games. Doesn't need to be an exact copy but the influence could be fun. Anyway, sorry for the long-winded response.

​@@stormdash2341 Ken Penders does not own any of the characters that he claims to own. Sega does. Ken is a nutball. When you create a character or something else for a copyrighted property, the company that owns it owns what said person created.

@@Optimegatrongodzilla I have heard people say this. I won't pretend I know about this type of legal stuff, but I imagine that if Sega really wanted to bring back characters like Scourge, Julie-Su or Elias, they can do so regardless of any potential lawsuit that Ken Penders tries to start.

@stormdash2341 They can. They just haven't and have never used characters from media other than the video games in the video games because they are stubborn idiots, which is especially true when it comes to the Sega of Japan side of things.

Oh yeah, I should have gotten into that. That two-parter was frustrating in its own right. There's other stuff from the latter two Seasons that I wasn't fond of either. Maybe I'll revisit this in the future.

Thanks for subscribing. And I will admit, I would l would have loved it it if Flurry or the Cake Twins became new leads since they have a direction connection to the Mane 6, and were established prior. It'd would be nice seeing these characters growing up and developing more.

@ its a scapegoat or a loophole. I prefer when the friendship lesson isn’t the main theme but more of a sub theme or shown through actions like in Harry Potter, Star Wars, Sonic the Hedgehog or Avatar the Last Airbender

Honestly the Dragonball inspired fight against Tirek was the finale in my mind. They had NO magic, the elements no longer needed. Friendship being the true magic.

EXACTLY!!! That is what we should have had, instead of "Twilight taking away magic to enforce friendship" That sounded too much like something the Mean 3 would have done.

Yeah! That girl literally took pleasure in beating up/fighting Twilight and her friends. Seeing others suffer brings her such joy! That girl’s just straight up irremediable and pure evil! #cozyglowisirremediable

yeah I also don't think she's redeemable. i don't necessarily hate cozy glow, I think she probably could've been fleshed out a little more as a character but she's irredeemable. she takes pleasure in hurting others, despite being given an opportunity to be in the school of friendship and make friends. she had a chance to sit down and be like "y'know what? i love these ponies. they're sweet to me, and I think-" but no she wanted power 😭

then again they could've done a better job fleshing out cozy glow if they really wanted us to believe she's truly irredeemable. I don't blame anyone for thinking that cozy didn't deserve to be immediately thrown to tartarus. rushing the plot in order to get the show finished by 2019 definitely messed some things up

I get what you mean. I would prefer it if The Freedom Fighters were Sonic's childhood friends. I do need to consider it from both sides. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing the FF return in the classic era. They might fit that aesthetic better.

I'd honestly agree with Flynn on this, i'd love to see them all in a Superstars/Mania style game tbh because i don't think they'd work in the modern-style games like Frontiers or X Shadow Generations

@@themediocrepretender Generations/Boost gameplay, yes (then again, a LOT of characters couldn't work there), but Frontiers?! When it comes to gameplay, they work way better than in Classic because that gameplay allows more flexibility. Because those like Sally would have to run fast in Classic, and a lot of people won't buy that unless maybe she uses air-shoes or whatever, or let alone use spin attacks unless she can't like the mods. Probably instead she does some sort of axel-kick/insta shield attack.

She's an animal person why does she need a full set of clothes? Like none of the males even wear them besides she was designed before Sega made female characters. Hell before this show got made all we had was Sonic and some concept art. Hell the Tails in this series is very accurate to the concept art colors. Like why are we even comparing this shows designs to modern sensibilities when those were yet to be created. God Sally haters are stupid

@@kabesilvermaine4768 she’s not an animal she’s an anthropomorphic animal, which is different than regular animal, and the reason why she needs clothes because she’s supposed to be a princess, which is enough reason for her to wear clothes than just awkward looking boots, and obviously the males don’t wear clothes due to them having flat bodies, in comparison to the females which have more details, and while yes she was created before the other females. However, the problem is the fact of the Americans who created her continue to keep showing her without clothes even during the time that where every female character in the games were wearing clothes and it took them 20 years to actually fix her design, which was way too late, so that’s why her being without clothes is a huge problem and it still is.

You gotta like what you have and not have what you like. Limited resources and all that. The rest of your comment I have no problems with. It's a good rebuttal, even if I'm not going to change my opinion because of it _(personally, I don't see Sally's minimalistic outfit as an issue unless she's drawn more curvy or human-like, which she usually isn't, at least not until later on in the comics)._ It's a valid take, all things considered.

@@iceman92211 Sally mentioned at least once that she did not care about being a Princess while in Knothole. Not all Princesses are conventional, Sally's among them. Also, like the other person said, she's a cartoon character. She's not the only female anthro character to be without clothes in media. Even the recent Kirby game had a female anthro character without clothes, and she was curvier than Sally was in both SatAM and for a majority of the comics.

I didn't quite understand the level of dislike towards the reboot until I truly got into the comics (and TV show) myself. Before, I was like "ok that's different but they probably had to do it this way; happens". Nowdays, sometimes even looking at panels from the reboot era gives me that odd, negative feeling, like there's something wrong, like things shouldn't be this way.

@@robertlupa8273 The reboot was an example of trying to please everyone. Sega wanted more of an adventure feel, but the writers tried capturing the SatAM vibe. It should have been one or the other, or at least slightly tweaked. A RUclipsr called Pariah, who is fairly popular in the Sonic community, brought up a good point on how the Reboot tries to channel too much of an Avengers vibe despite it trying to be more like the games. (IDW comics have a similar problem). If it were to me, Sonic should have been less of a Freedom Fighter, and more of an adventurer who just happened to get caught up in what was happening, and Sally's team could have easily been retconned into G.U.N. Agents who tagged along with their old friend Sonic. Has some SatAM feel but can easily transition into the adventure vibe that Sega wanted.

That's the beauty of this show and a lot of other shows. It's good being able to relate to the characters, even if it's in minor ways.

As I would say, better late than never. I got into the show about halfway through its run if my memory serves me correctly. Not the only show I've done that with either. The best part was being around for all the fan theories and he fan projects. But it did have its downsides, and honestly, I understand the peer pressure regarding the brony thing. Point is you chose to get into the show on your own accord and did what made you happy, and honestly, a hard part of life is being yourself and being confident in your choices. Trying is the first step and soon the rest is easy.
