Those are a gimmick that auto parts stores use to upsell by requiring them for the warranty. If rhey do anything, they help wick up acid that leaks out when rhe battery ks already in a distressed state, and hold it in contact with the connectors. The "vapours" coming from the vent arent really the issue since if they are bad enough to damage the connectors, then it's about time to replace rhe battery anyway since they ahouldnt be escaping at that concentration. The vents are for the hydrogen, not the acid vapours. Regular inspection is how you prevent damage to related parts around the battery.

Those have cause more bad connections than corrosion ever has use a copper penny it will corrode first b4 ur terminal does

Last time I replaced the batteries in our cars, I switched to Duracell AGM batteries from Sam's Club. 2 years so far and no corrosion.

I bought a used 2015 with the Borla s-type already installed. We really don’t like the drone in the cab around 1700-2000 rpm. Local shop has suggested a twister resonator to help. Wonder if only the Borla resonator would help

Because when I take out the dip stick theres always a smear. I clean it and take it out and again, smeared. Whomever comes up with a better way to gauge it and implement it to the car will be rich.

Because the oil level is two different heights on my dipstick... if I put it in one way ,one side is high the hatched side is at proper oil level. And then put it in the other way and then the hatchet side is too high.

I do my own. All my cars get over 200k. Usually 300+k

It blew my mind the first time I changed my oil on my '17 Ram. I've never seen a dumber placement for an oil filter in my life, but, if you have some angled channel lock pliers, it's not difficult to remove. It does make a mess however, so I put some plastic bags around it as best I can to minimize the oil splashing everywhere. I've gotten used to it, so I wouldn't not buy a Ram because of it, it's just a slight annoyance.

I’ve watched 5 of these videos and not one talked about how easy it is to break the holding clips on the cover of this thing. It’s such a cheap thing
