FYI - this guy doesn't know what he's taking about. Pomades are meant to look greasy: that is the point. Don't go with a water based pomade just because this doughnut thinks pomade looks dumb. His opinion is literally "I hate the look of pomade, so use a pomade that isn't a pomade instead" Absolute doughnut behavior, mate. Water based pomades harden and go crispy (just like gels). If you want something pliable that you can put your hands through then go for an oil-based pomade. And yes, you can stack more each day with oil based pomade and build it up (that is how you use them). Until you shower after 3-4 days.
