@@budgetsdreams we've not got regular pocket money because he doesn't help out on a regular basis, but when he does help then he gets paid xx

@@shecanbudget1170 That’s the bump Oz has just crossed. He’s being doing all his chores but forgetting to tick them off on Go Henry so wasn’t getting paid! I figured that wasn’t fair so pocket money activated. We had hoped when we started paying him for stuff that after a while it’d just become a habit for him and it worked! Other than trying to incentivise him with money to read… turns out there’s not enough money in the world for that to happen lol

My heart really goes out to you. I had a huge period of depression in around this time last year. It's horrible. I got myself back up after Christmas too. But I decide every week a category I'd like to give maybe 10. Or 20 etc. Then if I know a big bill is coming like my car insurance then I'll give that more. Luna Lolly also does Go with the Throw. You can choose your categories and amount. That really helped me. I bought it digitally so I can print copies for different binders. Sorry to hear you’ve been poorly 😢 It’s horrible having “brain flu” as I call it. (I call it that so I don’t feel any weird guilt about taking time off to get better.) I hope you’re giving yourself enough time to recover. If you ever need someone who understands just drop me a message on insta. I did get a chance on Thurs to read a bit more though while I was on the train travelling for a work thing. I keep forgetting it’s there. I might put a reminder on my phone during peak RUclips scrolling hours “books are a thing” haha!

I agree having watched it back. I waited years to get a ring light only to not need one 🤦🏻‍♀️ Is it the way I’m doing the counting? I want to tick off every space but doing it one by one would be boring so each time I roll I count “one” from the first free space and count on as many free spaces as the dice tells me to. Does that help?
