Does it matter if we wear contacts ?
Incredible question - I also wear contacts and had to look this up myself …. My contacts have UV protection, so personally, I remove them when I get my morning sunlight. It’s most important for the “5 minutes of sunlight within 30 minutes of waking up,” because we want that sunlight to be registered through the retinas, specifically….as for sunlight the rest of the day, wearing contact lenses is fine, since our skin has light receptors ALL OVER, not just in our eyes …. Hope this helps 😌🫡
Can i make this and store it for a couple of days??
Absolutely! In a tightly sealed bottle or jar, the ingredients should stay fresh for 2-3 days. If using sparkling water, then you may lose some of the fizz, but it is still great to drink.
His protocol is a little bit off. If you sprint at maximal effort for 20 seconds you will need at least 3 mins for recovery if not longer. If you don’t wait long enough you will not be able to give maximal effort on the next cycle.
Coley, the goal here is “maximum effort your body can exert in a depleted state” … the main focus is the interval training aspect of activating fat metabolism, more than it is trying to run as fast as you can in a completely rested state. I see what you were trying to get at though - valid concern 😌

I discovered this drink on a trip to San Miguel and Guanajuato, Mexico! This is the first meditation technique I learned while in college at Duke University. It served me well for YEARS! Super easy and quick to learn. Let me know what you think - 5 minutes and you'll feel effects, but 10-minutes and up is really the sweet spot to have physical and mental changes from this meditation exercise in my experience. Box Breathing is my go-to on the drive to work, immediately after the 1st round you sense the relief -- more calm, centered, focused, and joyful. Give it a try. From what I've read, and experienced personally, 7 rounds of the technique in this video will actually increase lung capacity and improve lung function and oxygen intake. Our minds are extremely powerful! I’ll never forget the anxiety and stress induced, chronic headache I had right before learning the transcendental meditation technique. Hydration, rest and advil were of no help. During my initial meditation session after learning the technique, my headache was 90% gone and improved each day. Meditation is medicine and I’m so happy the topic and practice is getting the recognition it deserves. Sometimes what we truly need to heal is to simply look inward.

Definitely goes down easiest when you mix it into a smoothie ! If I’m pressed for time, I stir it up with water and lime and take big gulps 😂

Haha tf?? It's called non-celiac gluten sensitiviy... every time I have some type of bread or oatmeal I'll get a sudden sense of fear, heart kicks then starts beating a lil faster out of nowhere (panic attack) and sometimes bloating then it goes away when I stop eating those foods.
Prioritizing morning sun exposure has worked wonders for my mental health. I feel lighter and more energized. Nature truly is medicine!

Great video. Found your channel looking up this topic. I ate pizza and pasta on Saturday during an outing with friends knowing that either wheat or gluten messes with my mood, my nervous system, my heart and my brain. It messes the homeostasis and metabolism of my body. All of the internal regulators feel upset. Today is Monday and I wanted to do a workout but I am fighting strong anxiety levels where my heart races for no reason and I have to fight against the urge to go into panic mode. It’s as if my body is full of adrenaline for no reason. Leaves me feeling drained and tired after barely any physical activity.
My friend, I have been there ... i think i know/remember exactly what you're feeling.
