the allies would likely win a much more slow and deadly war, the atomic bomb would be either never made, made by germany or uk or made way later during a future conflict. due to the lack of usa influence, the ussr would likely dominate global politics asuming the usa also stays out of other conflicts and communism would likely become more influential with no cold war or a very different one with a country like the uk. germany would likely be entirely disolved with new states under different spheres of influence. ussr, uk and other european economies would be significantly worse resulting in quicker decolonization while the usa has a steady and rapid growth from loaning money to developing or rebuilding countries

japan would still invade southeast asia and they have historically tried to invade the soviets but failed and signed a non aggression pact resulting in them likely not trying to invade the soviet union again and instead focusing on taking over south east asia and going to war with the european powers by invading their colonies

While all of this is true, it should be noted that the major breakthrough in living standards took place in teh post war years. My Grandparents for example had a much higher standard of living in the 50s, than their parents had in teh 30s.
